“I think that if you are looking for a quaint, charming, old New England home, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for new and fancy with modern features and more hotel feel, this isn't for you. The house reminded us of an old seaman's home. There are a ton of antique looking items on the wall and throughout the home, many with very interesting looks like a picture of a Navy man on the wall next to a very old desk. Beds were comfortable, although if you need firmer pillows you may want……

“Great midcoast Maine location about an hour from both Freeport and Camden. Had a wonderful stay with our two sons and their wives. Layout was perfect for us, with cozy seating areas in shared open space and bed/bath privacy for each couple. Kitchen was well stocked and big enough for prepping meals together. House is in a private, quiet, natural setting yet is still just minutes away from grocery, dining, shopping, and sightseeing options. Glad we stayed here!”

“Everything was perfect for us at this great property. The location is right on the harbor with views that never end. I rented with the plan of painting the scenery right from the property, it couldn't have been better. Very quiet and relaxing spot, we even had an eagle in the backyard. The house is cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the deck facing the water. Definitely want to plan to come back soon. ”

“The house was so conveniently located to everything we wanted to do - downtown, hiking, Boothbay Lights at the botanical gardens. The home was spacious and very comfortably fit 10. It was private and wooded with a lovely pond nearby. Plenty of parking. I wish the beds were queen or king though - there’s plenty of space!”
