“We were not prepared for how much the beds would be slanting and difficult to sleep in. The floor of the room was very up and down, but there was no leveling platform underneath the bed, so we spent each night sleeping at a most uncomfortable angle, trying not to fall out of bed. The musician in the bar on Saturday night was directly under our room and we could not sleep until 10pm, which with jet lag was not helpful. Very friendly staff and great breakfasts, however.”

“A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone……

“It was suppoosedly convenient as to where I wanted to be .Taxis were difficult. The traffic noise during the night interfered with my sleep”

“The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.”

“Great little pub in a wonderful countryside location. A nice stopping place for visiting Bristol or Bath and the surrounding areas. I had a lovely dinner here too. Highly recommend.”

“Parking breakfast staff large spaceous room plenty of storage clean rooms plugs near mirror .sea view excelent will go again.could hear lot of noise in night due to passing traffic.but still managed to get to sleep good location near all amendeties .will def go again”
