「Beautiful place 」

「I would choose this property again for convenience. However, the stay was average. Furnishings are traditional, but adequate. Some aspects of room needs updating. Due to Electrical Grid issues, power outages occasional, but this is universal in Monrovia. Breakfast was good. I did not use any amenities. 」

「Poor customer service. Tried to upgrade my room but it never happened. Could not get service to help with concerns in room. 」

「The staffs were mostly great. The two girls that were working during the day shift were professionally and very helpful. I love how spacious the room is. I wish they had a gym at the hotel. The main issue during my stay was the Wi-Fi issue. The Wi-Fi signal in my room was extremely weak. I had to use my starlink most of the time. Even though there were a lot of loud voices during the early mornings, I planned to make at least one more week reservation at this hotel. 」

「Room was clean and big thanks to an upgrade. A good restaurant with lots to choose from on the menu. A good breakfast included. The hotel was in a good location. Staff were very friendly. Nice place to stay.」

「Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. 」
