"The hotel is far from the city center, and perhaps in a little bit more challenging area as there were security gates that protected the property. The rooms were small with little space for luggage, etc., but the property was very quaint with it separate sitting areas and game room. The breakfast was probably one of the better ones we had on our whole trip…. More variety and options for beverages, pastries, and savory dishes. This property is a good value for the price!"

"Everything was great, the only let down for us was that as we stayed for one night - a Tuesday, we could not have our evening meal in the restaurant as it is not open on Tuesdays."

"Positives: good location, great breakfast. Free hot drinks in lobby all day, which was appreciated. easy parking. Negative: small room and bathroom which was no issue for us but room smelled so bad as we entered but reception said sorry we have no other room available, do you want air freshner???? we had to leave the window open all night (it was warm too and just one warm blanket) and couldnt sleep well, lots of noise from traffic and hotel(something like garbage pick up eary morning or dumping noisy stuff???) we saw no point reporting safe not working due to the first night experience."

"The house is only a few minutes walk from the lake and all the activities there, but is completely quiet, peaceful and very safe. It is also beautifully clean. The living room and kitchen area is large and well appointed. There is one large double en-suite bedroom on the first floor and four further large double bedrooms and one bathroom with a bath and handheld shower on the first floor. A couple of the bedrooms share hanging space. In the basement there is a TV room, large utility room, further kitchen shower and WC and a very nice outside garden. There is room to park two cars on the drive. It worked very well for our family. There are plenty of boats, paddleboards and bikes to hire a few minutes away, plus a large supermarket a 10-15 minute walk away, and the longer walk into town is very enjoyable beside the lake. We stayed during a heatwave, and whilst there were no fans, there were instructions as to how to create draughts by opening shutters and windows at different times during the day. We would happily stay here again."

"Beautiful property with incredible panoramic views of Lake Annecy. We spent a wonderful week in Veyrier-du-Lac. Very comfortable and well-equipped property with beautiful swimming pool. Fantastic communication from our host Fabienne and her family and prompt help from them when we encountered a couple of problems. The lake and village were just a short, steep walk from the house, so it was easy to enjoy all the local amenities - swim in the lake, take a boat trip, hire a pedalo, buy fresh bread, eat in a local restaurant, etc. Would definitely recommend."

"Lovely house in a charming village. We stayed with 9 people and everything we needed was available to us at the house. Communication with the owners was great, and there's multiple beaches within a 10min walking distance.The only downside is the noise from the street, but we adjusted fairly quickly. Bring a car for bigger shopping tours as the closest supermarket is a bit down the road (3min by car, 5-10min by bike), but there's a fantastic bakery just up the road that we went to daily."
