Beautiful provencal house with a view, hanging gardens & a great swimming pool

Come enjoy the happiness of the “Terrasses de Montaulieu”, a provencal house with its landscaped gardens on the hillside, its beautiful hanging terraces and its large secluded swimming pool offering a magnificent panorama. You will stay in the stone hamlet of Montaulieu, perched in the heart of the Baronnies Provençales natural park, whose green setting will not leave you indifferent.

The cottage consists of 2 houses of 3 levels each, one comprising 4 superb and large independent bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, and the second articulated around its outdoor space, patio and terrace, comprising 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, the kitchen, the large living room and its mezzanine, a games room and of course a magnificent 40m² terrace with a magical view. Finally, the large garden, its restanques and its terraces will lead you to our swimming pool out of sight, where a 5x12m pool awaits you, a summer kitchen and a relaxation area open to the surrounding hills, land of olive trees and apricot trees of the baronnies.

A short distance from Nyons, and local tourist attractions, the Terrasses de Montaulieu are an excellent location for touring the region (Provencal markets, Vaison la Romaine, wine route, various outdoor activities, Mont Ventoux, etc.) but also a very pleasant holiday destination. There are multiple hiking trails accessible from the house, you can play petanque on the hamlet square, enjoy the calm of the multiple terraces of the hanging gardens, have your meal in the shade of the vine or even relax by the panoramic swimming pool.

60 years ago, Montaulieu, a 13th century hamlet rose again, restored by lovers of beautiful things. We wanted to carry on, adding our personal touch. You will find renovated rooms, thoroughly arranged with antique furnishing and embellished with photographs patiently taken during our travels.

• 1 double bedroom 140*200, with bathroom and toilet, opening on the patio.
• 1 double bedroom 140*200, with bathroom and toilet, opening on the patio.
• 1 bedroom with double bed 200*200, on the upper floor, close to a bedroom with 1 single bed 90*190 + baby bed 120, with toilet/sink. Independent bathroom.

Second hours, ancient town hall:
• 1 vast double bedroom 200*200, with bathroom and toilet, opening on the outside.
• 1 apartment comprising 1 double bedroom 200*200, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds 80*190, a bathroom with bathtub, toilet.
• 1 large loft with 1 double bed 200*200, 1 single bed 100*200, bathroom and toilet. Amazing view.
Note: the double beds of the ancient town hall can be converted into single beds 100*200 on request.
