I went on a work trip and needed a receipt to verify my stay so I could receive per diem compensation. I requested a receipt from BoHo Manor, to which they sent me a blank form within the body of an email. I requested they send a proper receipt and they never got back to me. Soooo... If you are staying here for work, be prepared to not receive an appropriate receipt verifying your stay. P.S.: They do not have microwaves in the rooms and the WiFi is spotty.

Great Stay in Monte Rio

Our check-in host was wonderful and friendly. She recommended a nearby german restaurant for dinner which well exceeded our expectations. Bartender could have been a bit more friendly or engaging, but perhaps he was having an off day.

Restaurant never open or inconsistent. Bed was comfortable, but room could have been cleaner. They did not clean floor drain of gunk. It would have been nice to have a reading light over chair because overall lighting made it hard to read. Loved the outdoor area by river.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. The staff and management are outstanding. The location of the Manor is so tranquil and so welcoming. The room we had faced the River, which was fantastic. The dock is outstanding and access to (excellent) kayaks, paddleboards and floaties just makes accessing the beautiful River so easy. We really could not have been more pleased with our experience. The only suggestion we would make is simply to continue with the upgrades you are doing. The rooms could use a bit of a freshening-up but that is only to be expected with a building this age. So, this is offered simply for feedback not as criticism as we loved our stay and will be back. Thank youl

We are disappointed, no human beings to assist with questions, balcony seating in our room full of bird poop, cobwebs on balcony furniture, no garbage pick-up the entire 2 days of our stay, no help with check-in upon arrival, the bar closed at 7pm even though were advertised until 9pm, the A/C is a portable unit and the thermostat could not be regulated. The only positive was the location and view.

Valentine Day

We went to the Russian River for Valentine’s Day. Spent the night and had dinner at the BoHo! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded on our room which was fantastic! Great accommodation 😁 We ate and drank at the property! They had a special dinner menu, the menu was delicious! Everything we had was really flavorful and the staff friendly! Definitely recommend!!!

The place is very relaxing. The view of the river and the hills is beautiful. The hotel and the open spaces are very well maintained and a good mix between modern and quaint. All the hotel staff are very warm and helpful. We would definitely want to go again.

Great river views, rooms are meh

Firstly, the grounds are beautiful. Lots of seating including some covered seating. The bar area is quite dramatic with its blue themed decor. The rooms however, if you are in the main building, could use some improvement. Walls are paper-thin, or at least the adjoining door is. The beds are small and lumpy. I would suggest getting a room that has a letter in it as opposed to a number.

Had a room with balcony overlooking the Russian River and it was a great view. Nice big room with a ramp and no stairs. Enjoyed the restaurant and the bar. Would definitely recommend.
