A beautiful apartment in a great location!
The host, Yrasema, was very friendly and kind. She sent us lots of helpful information during our stay and responded quickly to questions. Don’t worry about the stairs up to the property. They were easy if you are moderately fit. The apartment was comfortable and very clean. She also left useful things like beach shoes, beach umbrellas, towels, and toys. As well as umbrellas for rain. The kitchen is well stocked. The apartment is steps away from the best shops and restaurants. There is also quick and easy access to the train station and the ferry boat dock.

Close to everything in Old Monterosso
A homely apartment in the heart of old Monterosso. From the warm greeting to the very helpful departure when I left my backpack locked inside Yrasema was very accommodating. Everything was in walking distance. The stair were not a problem for myself and my friend but could be for some. Comfortable beds. A great home away from home.

A little slice of heaven
The property was just as it was presented on VRBO. It was clean and stocked with anything you could need, whether you are headed to the beautiful beach or staying in for a home cooked meal. We loved sharing a bottle of wine in the evening on the little balcony and in the morning while having cappuccino. Great Stay
It was everything as stated. Great location, clean. Host was excellent, met us at the apartment, recommended restaurants to eat. On departure it was raining and she offered to lend us umbrellas to use for our walk to the train station and meet us to pick them up. Would recommend staying there-even with the 50 steps. Thank you.

Though we rented this 2 bedroom unit, when we arrived there were sheets only on the bed in the larger bedroom. When we contacted the owner, we were informed that since there were only two of us, we were expected to share the one bed and if we wanted sheets for the second bedroom, we needed to pay an additional 20 euro. When the owner was advised that we would not pay, and we would write a critical review if she insisted on the additional payment, she accused us of blackmail. Frankly, in our view, her demand for additional payment for sheets for the second bedroom was more accurately described as extortion. She grudgingly provided sheets the following day, which we had to put on the bed. The only other notable issue with the property is the 50 stairs from the street to the unit. In fairness, we were advised by the owner well in advance of these stairs. However, after 26 hours of travel, (3 planes and 3 trains), these narrow, outdoor, winding, stone steps were backbreaking.

In the Heart of Monterosso al Mare
Our favorite restaurant in Cinque Terre, L'Osteria, is a short block away. Wish we had more time to eat there more than just once this trip. We knew about the 50 steps when booking so that didn't bother us. Be careful that some steps are higher than others. Beautiful Cinque Terre (CT) village neighborhood. Short walk to the train to access the other CT villages. Nice stone beach with food and excellent drinks and umbrellas a short walk away. Lots of good restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. The main bedroom had AC and the second bedroom got the AC from the kitchen and there are windows at the top of the walls. The place is small so that worked. The kitchen had the needed appliances but we didn't use them with all the great restaurants close by. The water pressure was good and plenty of hot water in the shower. The shower stall was a little small and you had to be quick so as not to wet the bathroom floor when turning on the water. Close the windows so as not to let the bugs in. I only wish they had blackout curtains so it's not so bright in the main bedroom. I didn't think to see if they had shutters to make it darker in the room. Easy check-in and check-out. Yrasema was awesome. She let us leave our bags so we could enjoy the morning of our check-out before our train departed.

We enjoyed our stay, the owner was in contact to help with our needs. The apartment was convenient to ammenities, clean and just what we needed for after staying in hotels. I would suggest that some of the appliances, such as the washer, had instructions on its use in English.

Great Location. Perfect for families.
Yrasema was an amazing host. The apartment is located within a minute walk to the center of old Monterosso where all the amazing restaurants are. The closets beach area is also just a 5 minute walk. We definitely got our steps in traveling up to the apartment. It's also equipped with AC, which was a huge plus in the summer. Yrasema provided us with plenty of recommendations for restaurants, gelato and excursions. Our stay in Monterosso was an amazing experience and we're so glad we stayed in Yrasema's apartment. Perfectly appointed apartment for families
This apartment is extremely well appointed and perfect for a family with kids even though it was just my husband and I. The owner is very communicative and helpful and met us in the square to help guide us up. She has made sure that everything you could need is in the apartment even things for the beach (including toys! and towels), extra toiletries, and clear directions for the washing machine! (Trust me if you aren't familiar with European washing machines that can be very complicated with many settings this is super helpful!) I felt like I was experiencing an authentic and welcoming apartment for Cinque Terre compete with a lovely balcony compete with plants and a table that folds up. The air conditioning is a welcome relief if it gets too hot and the bed is comfortable - my husband is extremely tall and loved the bed! Our host was nice enough to explain the holiday we ended up staying during when we were curious and she even sent us a news clip about it. She recommends restaurants if you need it and is so friendly and kind. I cannot say enough how much I loved being able to stay here and to visit Monterosso al Mare again after so many years. I will say, the walk up to the apartment, like most in the Cinque Terre requires stairs, but that is to be expected and we knew it going in. It was fun to see all the plants and homes on the way up and down. Grazie mille for a memorable stay! Laura

Our host was wonderful with clear communication upon our arrival, offered restaurant recommendations, and any information we needed to navigate Cinque Terre. We loved staying in the old section with amazing restaurants just steps away. It is close to the ferry and the entrance to the hiking trails. The apartment is clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay in Monterosso
We had a great time and Yrasema was an excellent host! The property is great, lots of room for our family. Location is excellent, right off of one of the main streets but quiet at night. There are a lot of stairs which was OK for us but could be tough for some folks or those with lots of heavy bags. Communication was outstanding, she had lots of suggestions and even made us dinner reservations at an excellent spot. Best of all, the home is very well stocked with things like coffee, beach towels, drinks, etc. Would highly recommend, and be sure to check out the winery at the top of Via Buranco.

Fantastic Property!
The property was fantastic and location even better. You are immersed into old town Monterosso and yet have privacy. If you want to experience the culture of Cinque Terre this is the place for you. Beautiful Monterosso Location!
First, Yrasema is an amazing, happy, helpful hostess. The place was spotlessly clean and fully stocked. There are stairs, but for us, it totally added to the ambiance of Cinque Terre. Yrasema made sure we knew where everything was and how it worked and even made reservations for us for the public beach - which we LOVED. The 2 bedrooms made it perfect for my friend and I to share and it worked out perfectly.

Wonderful Monterosso Experience
Had such a wonderful stay here! A great spot in Monterosso just a short few minute walk to restaurants, stores, the Cinque Terre trails and boat tour launch. It is spotless and well equipped for making breakfast and/or other light meals if wanted. So close to everything but just far enough away to get a good night sleep (not atop any bars or nightlife). The manager is so wonderful with great recommendations on what to see and do. Overall just a super experience!

From our first interaction with Yrasema we sensed this was going to be a good experience. She met us at the exit of the pedestrian tunnel and walked us to the apartment, proving tips and insights along the way. She truly made us feel welcome to Monterosso al Mare and the Cinque Terra. The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in her apartment and has decorated it in a wonderful beach theme. She was personable and communicative. The location of the property is great. The steep stairs were a bit difficult with suitcases, but very manageable otherwise. We really enjoyed our stay there.....and there was a washing machine which was great.

Fabulous location!
We stayed here for 3 nights in the beautiful city of Monterosso. The apartment is in the perfect location in the heart of the Old town - which is absolutely the best place to be if you are looking for a true cultural experience. The host Yrasema was very helpful and met us when we got off the train - which we so appreciated after a long day of travel. We spent one day at the beach, and loved the fact that we could walk back to our suite if we forgot something. I would definitely recommend this place for your visit to the 5 Terre...... a clean spacious apartment with all the necessities, in a perfect location!

Wonderful apartment, location and landlady!!!
This apartment was the absolute perfect addition to our wonderful vacation in Cinque Terre! The apartment was spacious, clean, and located perfectly in the Old town of Monterosso. The landlady was wonderful too! She was very quick to respond to any requests or questions and had many wonderful suggestions for great things to do and places to eat around town. Everything was perfect! We loved our vacation in Monterosso. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent location and very comfy stay
We enjoyed are stay here very much! Yrasema was a very gracious and helpful host. She understood when we were unable to make it to the condo the first night and left very detailed instructions (photos) on how to get to the place since we were unable to meet her the first day. She kept in contact with us the whole time to make sure we had everything or needed help. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed - even beach towels and kids toys to take to the beach. The beach is not far and an easy walk. We stayed on old town side for the beach and were very happy. It is not as crowded and we were also able to get a chair. There are lots of stairs to get to the condo, but not a problem for any of us. There are fans for use at night as it does stay warm for sleeping. We were finally able to meet Yrasema and so glad did! She is very nice and so helpful! Thank you for sharing your home with us and all the help!

Wonderful villa in Monterosso
We had a fabulous time in Monteroso. The Villa it was lovely and clean and right in the city near all the restaurants and shops. Yrasema, the owner, met us when we got off the train and walked us to our villa and Gave us information about the city and Ideas on what to do. We had so much fun! Amazing Place!!
We absolutely feel in love with Monterosso! There were a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but it was well worth it. Amazing town and location, near yummy restaurants, grocery stores, fresh produce, and the water. Yrasema was gracious and helpful. The apartment was clean and well stocked. It was so nice to be able to do a load of laundry after a long week of traveling! I would stay here again in a heart beat

Yrasema is a host who is friendly, helpful and goes the extra step to make the stay comfortable. Our train and connection was late and Yrasema met us in town square to take us to the apartment. The place was homey, comfortable and we got information needed from Yrasema to help us navigate our plans. We would definitely recommend this property!

Great apartment and service!
This apartment was well very nice and the location was perfect. Yrasema couldn't have been more accommodating from getting us into Monterosso (purchased our train tickets and helped us with scheduling), around and out of Cinque Terre (arranged for young man to help us with luggage down the steps and to the train station) ! No where else did we have such great service! Highly recommend to friends/family and if I'm ever in the area again will stay here for sure!

Beautiful apartment stacked with amenities (including a full kitchen, washing machine, balcony, etc). Very clean and comfortable. It is apparent that a lot of love, time, and effort have been poured into the residence; it truly feels like a home away from home. Location is ideal, 2 minutes from the main square and beach but just far enough to avoid any noise issues. The host was gracious and helpful and offered advise on local restaurants, pastry shops, etc. I really can’t imagine our stay in Monterosso being so perfect had we stayed anywhere else. Be warned, there are about 20 uneven steps up to the apartment. My wife and I welcomed the exercise after our daily gelato but I can see these being an issue for those less fit or dealing with strollers or excessive luggage.

Beautiful and clean home; Kind and friendly owner
Yrasema rented us her apartment in Monterosso for 3 nights. The apartment itself was ideally located in a quiet area that was close to the center of town and the beach. The unit was clean and beautiful. Yrasema was kind and helpful. She worked with our travel plans, recommended great things around the area, and was available throughout our stay for questions. Would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely visit again.

Top notch, great location, owner yrsema very accommodating. Baby crying next-door continually in the morning during our three days, but we have a 12 young grandchildren of our own, so feel like we got the family flavor here and Italy😀

Comfortable home in a great location!
Yrasema and her husband met us at the entrance to old town and walked us to their second home, introducing us to Old Town along the way. After climbing a quaint path of ~50 stairs, winding through the neighborhood of local apartments, we were welcomed into their home. This is a home that Yrasema and her family use themselves when not rented making it warmer and more inviting than a pure rental unit. It is well supplied and very clean. Great hosts who provided good recommendations and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well with our visit. This is a great location in old town with a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby for cooking at home. There was plenty of room for our family of three and opening the windows with the fans created a comfortable and fresh environment in the heat of summer. The beach is a couple minutes down the hill and the Mediterranean is refreshing. Easy access to trains. We took one to Corniglia and hiked back to Vernazza. In the evening we grabbed a train for dinner and sunset in Manarola. The Rick Steve’s self guided tour of Monterosso was also wonderful to do. We would love to return and explore more of the Cinque Terre region and will definitely look to rent from Yrasema again when we do.

Tiny but we loved it
Small apt for 5 people but we loved the feel of it. It had all amenities we needed-plenty of towels for the beach, microwave, coffee etc. Steps to get to the apt are steep and plentiful so be prepared. Restaurants are abundant, cafes as well. Beautiful beach within walking distance, as is the train. Our host Yrasema was delightful, providing us with a cold drink when we arrived along with plenty of info about monterosso. We loved it.

We really enjoyed our time in Cinque Terra and Yrasema was very kind and responsive whenever we had questions. She even had cookies for our boys so that made them very happy. The apartment was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and quiet and had a nice big bathroom, which is hard to find in Europe. We really enjoyed staying here, it was very comfortable and quiet. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and could not have been nicer. It has a great kitchen, although we didn’t use too much of it, it is well equipped. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Monterosso
This was the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Cinque Terre and want a wonderful local experience. The apartment was very cute and in a magnificent location. Our host Yrasema was amazing and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and restaurants to visit. She answered all the questions we had before booking in a very prompt manner and she also checked in with us when we were there to see if everything was going well with our visit. The apartment was very well equipped with anything we needed and she even left us a bottle of local wine! Thank you Yrasema we had an awesome time !!!!!💗

A wonderful, homey, clean apartment. Yrasema was prompt in her communications and very helpful.
I highly recommend staying here. It is close to the old part of town, yet quiet.

Perfect place to stay in Monterosso/Cinque Terre
We (family with two kids (7 and 11)) enjoyed our stay in Monterosso very much. The apartment is perfect, located in the old town part of Monterosso, very quiet, with all the amenities one might need, within walking distance to the center, beach, train station etc. We can highly recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Cinque Terre. Lovely apartment
This is a great apartment right in the middle of Monterosso. Even if it's central it is very peaceful. The AC works great. The kitchen is very easy to use. I'm not used to gas stove but this one is so easy! Yrasema is the best host ever! She gives great tips and is so friendly and lovely.
