Natural Wonders House: Where nature awaits you!

The house is within walking distance of town (Santa Elena) but secluded enough to give you the contact with nature and the privacy that is looked for when you come to Monteverde.

There is a private back yard that provides a bird watching tour in-itself but also with a little luck a chance to see some other wildlife such as White Faced Monkeys, Agoutis, Coatis and others. Also it is a great place to just relax and read a book or enjoy nature.

Internet, cable tv, washer, dryer and a fully equipped kitchen and a bathtub provide all you will need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

For people thinking about long term stay the house can be arranged to have 3 bedrooms if needed.

This place was absolutely amazing. We loved it from the time we pulled in. Very beautiful property and the gate pulling in is so pretty. Daniella was very helpful and boy can she cook an amazing breakfast! Make sure to book her breakfast at the property at least once. We seen so much wildlife while just sitting on the beautiful porch, including monkeys. The house was very secure and safe. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. Make sure to stop at De Lucia restaurant right up the road, it is also walking distance. The community here is so friendly and we will be back to this area of Costa Rica soon.

Comfy, cute and walkable!

We loved our stay. The outdoor features were just as great as indoors. We spent a lot of time on the upper lookout watching the birds and sunset. Walkable to town and a couple of nature tours. Plenty to do here and wish we had stayed more than two nights :)

Fantastic house, fantastic host!

We had a great time while staying in Monteverde, mostly because of where we stayed and who our host was. Daniela was so awesome. She is very communicative with immediate responses, gave great information, and even organised our tours for us at Don Juan (which was EXCELLENT, by the way, and definitely a highlight). The butterfly garden was a short walk away, and very worth it as well; can’t beat the location of the house. It was a convenient drive away from whatever we wanted to do in Monteverde: shop or eat in town, tour the cloud forest, or organize any other tours or activities. As for the house itself, very pretty, very welcoming, and after a stiflingly hot several days in Drake Bay, we were so excited that we could do some laundry! The beds were super comfy, and the Birds Eye view tower was amazing for watching the sunsets. We even experienced a cute family of monkeys that passed through the property on the roof, and it was fun to watch the agoutis and armadillos that would come to the yard in the evenings. Kitchen is thoughtfully and thoroughly stocked, with even a blender provided and we made some fresh smoothies! Thank you Daniela!

Absolutely beautiful house

This property was amazing. The host's (Daniela) grandparents made everything in the house. Daniela was so responsive. The view in the backyard was beautiful. Walking distance to the butterfly garden. The host's grandmother even made us delicious banana bread. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms PLUS a washer and dryer. Will tell anyone who asks about a stay in Monteverde that this is the house to stay in. The roads to get there are rough, but it is worth it!!
