「This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay in Montezuma. The breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly. We even got an upgrade from a regular room to a balcony and they let us check in a few hours early because the room was ready. Hotel was clean and quiet. We saw a ton of wildlife right outside of our room… monkeys, iguanas, squirrels and a ton of unique birds. 「Outstanding stay and this small resort on the edge of the world. The drive from Liberia airport was a long one, but totally worth it to drive into the little village of Montezuma and into the jungle paradise of Ylang Ylang. Our room was right on the ocean. Going to sleep with the crash of the ocean waves outside our door. Beaches - mostly empty save the hermit crabs and occasional local dog. Staff - outstanding. Bed - comfortable. This is a slice of paradise.

「We had a really good stay at El Sano Banano overall. The highlight was definitely the staff — everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Miguel at the restaurant, who was our favorite server. He went above and beyond and made our experience even better.
The hotel itself was clean and well-kept, and the location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of town, which made everything super convenient.
