“The hotel is nicely situated in a beautiful old monastery. The natural pool is great to spend a day and relax. The staff is very helpful with every question, but seems mostly untrained. A lot of questions we had to ask are question you usually don’t have to ask in a hotel - like showing the waiter how to open a bottle of wine. Cleaning of the room was very basic, mainly only make the beds. Breakfast was to forget: only one big loaf of sourdough bread that you had to cut yourself - no pastries……

“Aurelie and Pascal are simply the nicest people. Nothing is too much trouble, including making gluten free cake and providing gluten free bread for one of us and vegetarian for the other (we are not the easiest of guests!) We chose the simpler of the two rooms, and would definitely take the posher one next time, if only for the air conditioning, but they say they plan to install air-conditioning in the little room, they are well aware of the necessity, but there is an access problem for the……

“Our 4th visit at Clos St. Pirre de Fraisse. As always a pleasure, peaceful, cool and very clean rooms. We were served the worlds best croissants and homemade yoghurt at breakfast. We look forward to come back next year.”

“Villa Blanche was secluded; a car was necessary to visit Arles, Avignon, or Mimes. Gilbert and Oliver were outstanding hosts. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The meals were traditional Provencal....wonderful! We would definitely go back to Villa Blanche.”
