Quiet chalet, facing south, with large panoramic terrace of 40 m2, sunny from morning to evening and sauna.
Located 350 m from the center of the village of Montgenèvre and 480 m from the slopes. The 'Janus' stop of the free Montgenèvre ski bus is next to the chalet.
Built in 2013. Everything is completely new, made in chalet-wood style and very well insulated.

Unique offer in Montgenevre for winter holidays (ski area of the milky way 'Via Lattea' connecting the Montgenèvre and Clavière-Sestrière stations in Italy, offering 400 km of slopes) and summer (18-hole golf, mountain biking, bike park, lakes, the largest summer toboggan run in France, tennis, swimming pool, grimp'in forest adventure park, Via ferrata, ...).
Briançon fortified city unesco heritage 20 minutes away
Rafting, Canyoning, open water swimming ... 25 minutes away
Cycling: Col du Galibier 45 minutes away

Excellent séjour d’une semaine au chalet CHABERTON. Parfaitement adapté pour 14 personnes. Il ne manque rien ! Tout y est. Le sauna, le vestiaire avec des chaussures chaudes tous les matins, une vue splendide, la navette devant le chalet ou 5/7 mn de marche pour accéder aux pistes, de l’espace pour partager les repas, une literie de qualité….bref nous reviendrons l’année prochaine. We stayed here for February half term as a group of 14 (four families) and the house was genuinely perfect in every way. It’s one of those rare places that looks great in the listing but is even better in real life.The layout worked brilliantly for a large mixed group — plenty of space to spread out, comfortable communal areas for meals and evenings together, and everything felt well thought-out and well equipped. The property was spotless on arrival and clearly cared for, which made it feel immediately welcoming.Location-wise, it couldn’t have suited us better. Montgenèvre is a fantastic town — friendly, easy to get around, and ideal for families — and the skiing was excellent. It was exactly what we wanted for a half-term trip: great atmosphere, great slopes, and a really straightforward week logistically.A special mention for Serge the owner and their agent, GoMontgenèvre — they were incredibly responsive throughout, quick to answer questions, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed anything. That level of communication makes a huge difference with a large group and gave us total confidence from start to finish.We had an amazing week and would book again without hesitation. Highly recommended for large family groups looking for an easy, high-quality stay in a great resort.

Gîtte très bien situé par rapport à la station. Beaucoup de place

On était 6 adultes et 4 enfants de 3 à 14 ans. Cuisine bien équipée. Les salles d'eau et les toilettes ne manquent pas. Très grands balcons.D'habitude, les enfants sont infernaux quand ils sont à l'intérieur, mais les escaliers, les vastes balcons et les grands paliers leur ont servi de terrain de jeux. Pour ce qui est de la culture, la vieille ville de Briançon et la visite de l'un des forts valent le déplacement. Et la vieille ville de Turin (à 70 km par des autoroutes et tunnels nickels) vaut aussi le déplacement. Un de mes fils a fait de l'alpinisme avec son fils de 14 ans (le vrai, pas la via ferrata). Pour les autres gamins, les plaines de jeux de la station, l'acrobranche, la piscine ,et la luge d'été les ont enchantés.

Didn’t realise we’d stayed here before until we arrived. Views are stunning from terraces of the living room and first floor bedrooms. All rooms very comfortable. Quality bathrooms. Refurbed kitchen has lots of everything. Number 2 bus right outside for whenever you don’t fancy the short walk to centre.

Base for summer hiking in the Brianconnais

The property was very spacious and clean, and the kitchen was very well-appointed with cooking equipment. It was ideal for a large group of ten people. The chalet is located in a very quiet area, and all our group very much enjoyed our stay there for two weeks. We would recommend this property highly.

Excellente semaine ensoleillée à Montgenèvre

Le chalet est spacieux et très agréable, en particulier la pièce à vivre, avec sa vue et sa terrasse. L'emplacement est idéal, au calme et très proche du centre. Les alentours sont somptueux (Haute Vallée de la Clarée, Italie toute proche,...). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette région.

February ski break

Great property, well equipped, good location. Our family consisted of 11 people of mixed ages, the chalet was spacious enough for us. We had the perfect week for skiing with the weather and conditions. The views from the property were amazing. The host was very knowledgeable and helpful both in the build up to our stay and whilst in resort.

Brilliant stay!

We had a great time staying in August, great area for walking with a range of difficulties of walk available, and made use of the ski lift running on the mountain opposite. Chalet was fantastic, good kitchen and living space, comfortable beds, good balcony space. Only two toilets, but plenty of showers. Very happy with the stay overall!

Le chalet est au centre de la station avec tous les commerces à proximite. La vue sur les montagnes et le domaine skiable est magnifique. Seul bémol, le mobilier du séjour demanderai une petite révision.

A lovely property set over four floors

A lovely property. Set over four floors with garage, shower, sauna at street level; then 2 bedrooms; then lounge & kitchen; then 2 more bedrooms up top. This can be used to the advantage of the group. We stayed in summer & found the location to be great as well. You can make the most of being outdoors with hikes, rides, luge, golf and more. Less than an hour’s walk & you can cross the Italian boarder where the Tibetan bridge is really worth a visit. We had a lovely meal in Claviere. The chalet is equipped with everything needed for the chef in the family. There is enough on easy access in Montgenevre with shops & café. We’d like to return in winter as I think the skiing would be terrific.
