"I was an hour and a half away from the property when the host canceled. I had been sent no information prior to this cancellation. On top of that, VRBO’s “policy” doesn’t allow same day bookings, so instead of being able to enjoy my first night away in a long time, I was forced to spend what should have been time with friends scrambling to find somewhere reasonably priced to stay. "Parking was really easy and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Location is great if you’re going to spend time downtown or going to a Biscuits baseball game. The staff was also super accommodating and really nice."

"The hotel is situated in a lovely, tree-lined area of Montgomery that is easy to access and quiet. Our room was commodious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet offer many excellent choices, including all the ingredients for a fruit parfait. However...our room did not have a blackout curtain. The staff came up and helped us to clamp together the side drapes to block the light so we could sleep. The toilet roll holder came apart when I tried to draw paper from the roll, and the bathtub drain appeared to have been twisted from its mount. It was sitting on the edge of the tub. Overall, a lovely place to stay that could be a great deal better with effective maintenance. Unfortunately, too many hotels along our interstates suffer from these types of neglect."
