「Lovely helpful staff, comfortable, clean room (superior room) and the continental / cooked breakfast was good. I stayed overnight on a Friday arriving at 7pm and the available parking in the hotel carpark and local area was extremely limited so I would recommend arriving early. Do not rely on being able to connect to the hotel free WiFi. I could not connect at all and was told by a staff member that it was most likely due to the bar / restaurant areas being busy. I am on O2 and could not get...

「Lovely hotel, beautiful clean room. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent, bar area with lots of sofas to relax on. Good choice at breakfast and staff were helpful and friendly. Great stay.」

「The infrastructure needs a reasonable amount of TLC but it’s a lovely place, with great staff, good beer, fabulous folk music on a Friday evening and a decent size car park. We e stayed many times before when visiting the Centre for Alternative Technology and will stay at the Wynnstay again soon」

「The room was clean and comfortable but we were in the top of the building so it wasn’t the best room available. Which we didn’t mind as we it was reasonable value and we booked last minute. However the people in the establishment were a little rowdy and we felt uncomfortable on the evening having our meal. The breakfast the following morning was unorganised with staff who didn’t know what to do and was definitely not worth the money.」

「A quaint old fashioned inn. Amenities a bit dated but all functioning. Bath with jets was a plus. Loved the provision of bottled water and little biscuits. Breakfast was a lovely continental affair. Only downside was the winding staircases that made taking luggage up and down difficult.」

「The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast.」
