Nice well kept, older, motel style accommodations in an out of the way location. If you’re traveling 89 to Yellowstone it’s a nice place to spend the night. The breakfast setup was on par with any big chain hotel. If you are in Montpelier, you have to go to the Ranch Hand Trail Stop for a meal. Our room was very comfortable and roomy & the staff was friendly.

The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were nice enough, the shower had lots of hot water, and the WiFi didn’t lag. The front desk staff was polite and efficient while keeping the breakfast clean and restocked. The best feature about the hotel was the breakfast: eggs, waffles, biscuits with sausage gravy. Lots and lots of choices.

This is a renovated property in the style of what used to be called "motor inns" - two stories, but the rooms open onto exterior sidewalks rather than interior halls . Our ground floor room was nice and it was scrupulously clean. Everything worked just fine. We enjoyed a drink at the little "Sports Lounge" that operates on the site. The morning breakfast was good and had plenty of options. And the staff were all very nice.
