Apartment with cathedral view in the historical quarter

Enjoy your stay in the historical part of Montpellier with this freshly renovated and fully equipped flat.
The flat has a fantastic view on one of the most prestigious historical squares of Montpellier, with the Saint-Pierre Cathedral and Ecole de Médecine. From there you will be anywhere in the Ecusson, the historical center of the city, in less than 5 minutes.
This 80 square meter duplex has two bedrooms :
- 1bedroom with king-size bed and cathedral view (air con should be installed before summer 2024),
- 1bedroom with queen-size bed, which is located on the upper floor, right under the roof and has the charm of exposed wooden beams (with air con); this room has a wooden desk and office chair.
Also :
a living room, a dining room (can also be used as a separate office), a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a separate toilet.

The Ecusson, the historical center of Montpellier, has indescribable charm with architecture and historical landmarks everywhere, but also cool bars, squares and restaurants.
In the close neighborhood of the appartement, the Saint-Pierre cathedral (with its twin convivial pillars and its 12 chapels) and the school of Médecine together make a unique architectural unit. A bit further is the famous (and hype) Canourgue square or the promenade du Pérou with its 300-years old arch of Triumph.
300m away, the "jardin des Plantes", commissioned by king Henry the IVth in 1593, is one of the oldest public gardens in France.

Amazing stay

Loved the property. Old building but apartment renovated. Spectacular views of the cathedral right in front. Has all facilities as described and bonus air conditioning units really appreciated, although using shutters kept the apartment surprisingly cool. Vibrant restaurants and bars a short walk away as was the tram line. We would return in a heartbeat. Owner communication, checkin very professional.

Die Wohnung liegt wirklich perfekt! In der Altstadt zwischen allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und trotzdem ruhig. Das beste: Ein Cafe direkt unten im Haus und tolle Restaurants direkt ums Eck. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war total unkompliziert und freundlich. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt!

This third floor walk up (You are in France, remember) is adorable, well equipped, and PERFECTLY located. I was there for two weeks by myself for French language school before my husband joined me for another two weeks. Everything you need or want is nearby and convenient. Just a short walk to Place de la Comedie and across the street from the Jardin des Plantes. The stairs to the apartment and the second bedroom are steep so this apartment will not work for those with mobility issues. I hope to stay there again next year as I continue my studies.

Excellent location!

We had a wonderful stay in Montpellier. We greatly enjoyed the view of the cathedral from the apartment window and hearing the bells. The kitchen was smaller than we prefer but the apartment is well located for walking to many sights, restaurants, cafes and more. We had no trouble with climbing the stairs to the top floor and, overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We had easy communication with the host prior to our stay, and we will definitely return to Montpellier. Thank you!!

Romantic and spacious loft in an incredible neighborhood

The flat is exactly what the pictures show, large, with two separate bedrooms, each with a space that can be conveniently used as an office if you are a professional traveler. The view on the cathedral and place Saint-Pierre is stunning. Everything from small shops to groceries restaurants and bars is within walking distance. You can walk to the St Roch train station or take the tram. The neighborhood is quiet (which is quite a miracle in the historical quarter). Conversation with the owner on Whatsapp is very easy, the check in process is smooth. I had a great time and I will come again with some friends if I have the opportunity.
