Bare bones
I had reserved this place for my parents for its practicality, thinking it would just be a comfortable place for them to sleep and shower while they spent most of their time out and about during the day. However, I found this apartment to be lacking in several key areas. It's small and at the top of several flights of stairs. This wouldn't normally be an issue in and of itself, but it would have been good to know. Inside, the bed is also quite small and the temperature is difficult to control. The air conditioning wasn't working and opening windows was not an option due to the street noise. Furthermore, during the day, there is really no place to sit. The bathroom is recently renovated a f it did seem clean, but there were no bathmats, hand towels, of washcloths so I ended up having to bring my parents these things from my house. The furniture was all very cheap and overall, it matched my expectations for a youth hostel or budget hotel, but the photos alluded to a higher level of comfort. I was very disappointed. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. I am asking myself serious questions about using VRBO again in Montreal. It is disquieting to see such a nice-looking property with a 5 star review and then to have an experience like this.from my stairs, but
