"No air-conditioning — while this is perhaps mentioned somewhere, we did not notice when booking. We spent two nights there, with daily highs around 40 Celsius. 4m ceilings and stone walls help somewhat, but still, not very comfortable. The bathroom lacks shelving and counter space. Lastly, we booked an Armagnac tour and experience, but apparently the person who does it is not working on Tuesdays. One of the staff members opened the place for us and explained a few things, but still again: why take a reservation for something you know you cannot do. Of the nice things: The grounds are nice, we enjoyed walking through the vineyards in the mornings. The starters at the dinner were also exceptional. The staff were friendly and it felt like home. "

"Loved our room it was very tasteful and had an amazing shower. Loved the breakfast and the location. Right in the centre of Nérac and we enjoyed life music at a bar round the corner our first night. The second night we had an amazing meal at Domaine de Versailles again life music and dancing. Great friendly hotel and great area we will be back!"

"A lovely cottage in a rural location located about 10Km from Condom and close to a number of scenic bastide towns (Montreal, Lannepax, Fources to name a few). The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and all rooms were clean and furnished in keeping with the property. Lisa, the property manager was very helpful providing lots of useful information on restaurants, markets, and places to visit. There is a lot to do in the local area, and the quiet roads are ideal for walkers and cyclists. We stayed when France was experiencing a heat wave (temperatures mid-30C), but found the cottage to be very humid at night. A dehumidifier was provided but it was too noisy to be kept on all night. The spiral stair case to the upper floor is very narrow, so would recommend having in luggage in small bags if possible rather than large suitcases."

"This was a wonderful place to stay out in the countryside to explore the Gers. It is minutes away from Condom and Romieu, an hour or so from Auch - and in the midst of a number of Armagnac distilleries to discover. My room was very comfortable, breakfasts were excellent, and the one dinner I had was exquisite."

"What a wonderful historic building this is. Nice specious courtyard and pool area. Staff was so professional and friendly. Easy to store our bicycles in the parking garage. Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Also the food in this restaurant is excellent. Don’t forget to try the soufflé it’s the best we have had ever! Breakfast great too. Would definitely stay here again as only 2 minute walk from the historic center. "
