The rooms were very clean. The staff was wonderful. The location is on a busy highway so the positive very accessible to other businesses. The negative our room was located close to the highway and the traffic noise was definitely noticeable.

This is a nicely updated classic motel. Our room was small, but well organized and comfortable. The staff were friendly (especially Monte the dog) and we appreciated the quick breakfast snacks including easily portable options and bottled water to take on day trips and hikes in the nearby parks. Located on the main highway, there are plenty of local cafés and restaurants nearby. I also caught a glimpse of the little dipper overhead on our stay.

Great night stay after touring the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Central location within walking distance to several restaurants and great shopping options. Breakfast included coffee, tea, yogurt, granola bars, pop tarts, and apple sauce packets if you have little ones. Also offered bottled water. Bed was comfortable and even though it's on a main highway, traffic quiets down after dark and wasn't bothersome at all. Great budget option in Montrose.
