"Nice older property off main highway. We had an accessible room and the design of the shower meant that the entire bathroom got very wet - we had to use all the towels to mop it up. Made for a very dangerous shower experience."
"everything here is good but only one bad experience was housekeeping not being done even after not having dnd sign out..
i had booked 2 rooms for my family and only one room was cleaned up ..
after spending entire day in sequoia i was hoping to rest in clean room but i couldn't..
also when i asked about where to dispose room trash the staff asked me to bring it down 3 floors and throw it in the common trash box.. i found it inconvenient and not so polite gesture from staff."
"Christian at the front desk was a dream! She was incredibly kind and helpful. Exactly the kind of experience one hopes for on a family weekend getaway. Will be returning. Also, adorable coffee drive through within steps of the hotel, delicious coffee/drinks and snacks."
Lamp Liter Inn Visalia, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This property was recently renovated and had wonderful upgrades throughout the room. It was a super cute little place with a nice courtyard. The bed was super comfy and I loved the updated shower. It was a bit strange with the sliding patio doors right next to the bed but we never opened them so it wasn’t a big deal."
"Enjoyed our two night stay at the Hampton in Visalia. We used the hotel as a base for our visits to Sequoia National Park. The hotel was clean, friendly staff, quiet, and very comfortable. As I mentioned to the front desk staff on departure, I would recommend any family traveling to Sequoia or Kings Canyon to seriously consider staying at the Hampton. You save a considerable amount versus a property closer, say Three Rivers, and you are at the Park entrance 35 minutes after departing the hotel in a straight shot from the hotel to the Ranger station. Breakfast included made this a no brainer."
