It was a 2 star hotel but honestly it was very cute and clean. Simple walk to the beach and they had beach wagons to rent if you needed on a first come first serve basis. Staff was super helpful and very friendly! Was in a great location with shops and food close.

Very friendly people at the front desk. Nice location for walking to a few restaurants that are really great and coffee shop as well! Has a rinse station/shower so you don't have to wait your turn in line at the one at the beach. It is not exactly beachfront, but it is a quick walk to the beach access which is right next to Surf's Up Grill. We enjoyed our stay!

Great hotel for the area and price. Staff was friendly. The room itself was a little rough. There was stains on the bedding, a hole in the bathroom wall, a hole in the ceiling, the standing shower wasn't sealed correctly so the bathroom would flood every time we showered. The air conditioning could use updating as it is a little noisy but overall this is a great place to stay. It’s very convenient to the beach and pier as well as great food. There’s shops including beachwear, ice cream and restaurants in walking distance. I would stay again.

Room was clean, large, very near the beach/pier. It just needed a bit of updating. Several bathroom tiles were cracked and the shower curtain needed replacement. Fridge and microwave were nice amenities and I have to say, there were a lot of electrical outlets which was great. The only con: previous room renters left items behind in the nightstand drawer that we didn’t find until we were looking through drawers as we were leaving—should’ve been found by maintenance staff before the room was given to us.

Upon checking out, I let the staff know the tub was clogged and did not drain. The refrigerator. Freezer portion was caked with ice and the front door was difficult to open due to the moisture from the beach. I was told they would certainly look into those things, the staff was very friendly.

Huishouding was op zaterdag kennelijk vrij en hiermee werden de kamers niet verzorgd. De medewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk service gericht en behulpzaam. De kamer was goed up-to-date ingericht en goed onderhouden. De veranda gaf in de avond mogelijkheid om heerlijk te zitten en nagenieten van de zonsondergang. De accommodatie ligt op 3 minuten lopen van het strand voor de accommodatie is een RV kamp. Hierdoor is er geen zicht direct op de zee. Parkeerplaatsen zijn er voldoende. In de omgeving is er voldoende entertainment en goede eetgelegenheden. Een aanrader als je op Emerald Beach wil verblijven

I liked the closeness to restaurants and the Bogue Inlet Pier. This was the main reason for the stay was for fishing. Only negative was the 1 hour delay to get in my room for check-in. The stated time was 3pm and I didn't get in until a little after 4pm.
