The place was great and I and my cousin loved it . Nice and quiet and homey. The lady who owns it was a great and wonderful person. She made us feel welcomed. Would recommend to family and friends. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

Morehead wedding weekend
My (now) husband and I, along with another couple stayed for the weekend while we tied the knot in Beaufort. Really wonderful experience! This rental is full of charm and inviting places to sit and relax. It is quiet and comfortable with all of the cool quirks you find in a property this age. There is a great, eclectic mix of modern upgrades/finishes and vintage coastal town home. The property manager(s) are lovely and attentive. We highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying here again!

Relaxation at the Sandbar
A wonderful property with easy access to downtown or any of several public beaches. Home-y touches throughout the property, several ceiling fans to dial-in ones comfort level, and very nice hardwood floors that do not squeak at all; quite impressive. The Sandbar is an easy choice when we return to Morehead City.

Peaceful stay
The cottage decor made our brief stay very calm and peaceful with the beach just a short walk away. Ludie is a gracious host and provided very comfortable furnishings. We were attending a wedding Labor Day weekend and appreciated the close proximity to the event yer located far from the holiday crowds. Perfect location!

A Most Awesome House
From the moment we walked in a saw the bottle of wine, fresh cake, Mylar balloons, and customized message board, we knew this was a special place owned by special people. The perfect location and a house that easily could have been the local beach museum, this wonderful home was truly a blessing to behold. Ludie made us feel as though we were part of her family and in today’s world, that is a wonderful thing.
