Family trip
We had a blast at the cabin! Plenty to do for all ages. Room outside for the kiddos to run. Fire pit, hot tubs and game room were the favorites. Big kitchen table with beautiful view. Just two complaints- one being that one of the upstairs beds and wood floor is super loud. Makes loud creaks with even the slightest of movements like rolling over or sitting up and is especially loud to the bedroom below you. We had a newborn so were up every couple hours, and no matter what we did to be quiet, the bed and floor creaked so loud it woke the family up that was sleeping in the basement. The second complaint was we saw 3 live scorpions in the basement and a dead one. The cabin is located in the mountains and we did visit in a cold month, so not sure if this could be prevented, but maybe recommend pest control service more frequently. Other than those two things, we had a blast.

Great view, but nothing worked
Issues started with lack of response from host (Vacasa) prior to check in. I sent 3 messages to host the week leading up to check in regarding specific amenities. I never got a response. Check is was easy, but once we entered downstairs we noticed an odor. After some time looking around we realized one of the bed covers smelled moldy and sour. We had to wash it in vinegar to get rid of the odor. The home is advertised for gamers, which is why we picked it. The Street Fighter arcade game did not work and neither did the Wii console. The igniter on one side of the grill did not work. And while making breakfast, the handle to the oven fell off. Without the handle the oven cannot be opened so we were unable to use it for the rest of the trip. I did notify Vacasa of the oven issue and was told someone would come out. No one ever did. I can look over 1 or 2 issues, but the problems we ran into affected our entire stay. I do not recommend this house or host due to multiple problems and lack of communication.

Beautiful view!
The area is amazing, the cabin was comfortable and the view simply breathtaking. The cabin was clean, but bed sheets/blankets weren't and had so much pet hair we had to wash them. Kitchen had everything we needed, we bought groceries and were able to cook a few times. The board games and arcade machines were a plus! Hot tub was awesome as well. Our first two nights were very cold outside and we could not figure out how to turn on the heater. We also planned to make s'mores, but the firepit is in rough shape and we couldn't. Overall the cabin was great and we enjoyed the tranquility of the area.

Mountain Fun
This property was great as home base for our vacation. We spent time jumping in Blue Hole Ocoee, took a day trip to Helen for some awesome tubing, another day trip to Atlanta to the World of Coke. Dinners, movies and hot tub fun at home. Twin boys, age 13 got schooled in darts and Galaga, lol! But now they know how to play both! Great time! Thank you!
