We avoided leaving the cabin in order to limit the amount of times we drove up there. Definitely bring a good car for off-roading! The blinds on the windows are attractive, but they don't block out the neighborhood lights. Curtains in the bedrooms would be a great addition, otherwise I recommend a sleep mask.
