"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"Staff were very courteous and hotel was very clean. The hotel is very quiet, but surrounding area is a bit noisey and I would recommend ear plugs at night. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very lovely, well-maintained and comfortable accommodation close to the cablecar station that takes you up the mountain. Has a nice restaurant and hiking equipment facilities on the ground floor."

"Service was great, the hotel was very close to the train station and convenience stores. They had all the amenities and more that you could need. They also have a direct bus to and from the airport. "
"Staff of hotel were great and helpful to give us advices about the hotel stay. Communication is good as they all speak english. The room is clean and well maintained. They replenish bottles of waters once we completed. The location is great for visitors especially if you arrive at late night. Plenty of places to eat. On the first floor, the hotel connects to 7/11 store. U don't need to get out to get things from the store. there are several nice restaurants with reasonable prices. A short walk to Shinjuku station from B13 exit. Very convenient.

"Was very nice having plenty of dining options open late during our stay. The rooms were not very big but that was expected. We spent one night there and enjoyed being around so much around Shinjuku."
"The Sotetsu inn was very nice, rooms were smaller than we thought. But it was clean. We had to manage the space with our luggage to allow us to move around in the room. It was a tight space, but we managed. Very close to transportation, literally 50 feet away from the subway station entrance. Breakfast was good enough to get us by until a late lunch . The staff was very nice and pleasant and very accommodating. We had a wonderful time.
