"Perfect room and location "

"Rooms were very small, and not the best in cleanliness. Staffs were overall ok with service. We lost a room card at checkout and they wanted $3000 yen, which it’s unacceptable, no one told us we needed to return both room keys. I mean no modern hotels needs guests to return room cards. "

"A thoughtful long stay option, which had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Ideal location being so close to Ueno Park, station(s), shops and restaurants. The hotel’s public baths with great views of the park was a standout, however could be cleaner at times. Also be mindful being long stay, rooms are not cleaned every day but trash is emptied and towels are refreshed daily, which was fine."

"The room was small, but this is expected for a room in Tokyo at this price. The bummer about this place is the air conditioning. It is central and in March it is set for heat. Therefore, the room was very warm and stuffy. I was able to crack open the window and that cooled the room down. The water pressure is amazing. One of the best showers I have ever taken. The outdoor soa area on the top floor is also really nice. I would only ask that they address the air-conditioning situation. One last positive note, the location is outstanding. There is a fantastic yakitori place on the corner. Ueno is a great place to stay when visiting Tokyo. "

"The highlight of the Asakusa View hotel is the actual “omotenashi” experience. They offer the highest level of Japanese hospitality which I find missing in so many properties these days. It’s as though each and every staff member is the owner of the property snd takes such pride in “being of service” offering you the best experience. "

"This hotel was top notch, with outstanding service: very friendly and helpful staff. The “rain” shower was hard to leave behind. Even the quality of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was exceptional."
