“We had a lovely night’s stay at the Matterhorn. The property is in good repair. Our room was large and very comfortable—great bed, lovely balcony, incredible view of the pink rocks. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. The only potential issue was the continental breakfast, which was yogurt, granola bars, coffee and fruit. “Gorgeous view! We walked from the hotel to the scenic view road stop for Bell Rock. We did not hike the trails, but the Wildflower Inn would be perfect for anyone who wanted to hike. This area is quieter than Sedona proper, yet had wonderful restaurants close by. Coffee in the hotel room was great - even the decaf! Staff was friendly and accommodating. “I had high hopes for this place. The description said that we would be treated more than a number, as soon as we checked in, it felt rushed. There was an envelope with our name on it outside. A staff member I think came to show us where our room was again, felt rushed. In the description it said fresh fruit and snacks would be provided, there wasn’t any at all.
