"We had a lovely week at St Iven. The rural location meant the peace and quiet was wonderful and was much needed! The gite is spacious and well equipped and within easy reach of some very attractive towns, some stunning scenery and all the humbling history that is associated with the Normandy D-Day Landings."

"We had a very nice stay and the house was well equipped. The garden is large which gave the children space to run around and the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly the beds were comfortable! Location is superb if you are looking for somewhere quiet and rural but we did end up driving a lot for attractions further afield. Plenty of parking. When we called about a few issues, the owner came within 10mins and both were resolved immediately. The home-made jam was greatly appreciated....

"We stayed here as a group of 3 families. It’s a spacious house so everyone had plenty of their own space and didn’t get on each others nerves. The property is exactly as described, the pool is wonderful and play barn much better than we anticipated. There is a space outside to play football/cricket so altogether perfect for a family holiday. The host and the property manager were amazing and went above and beyond both before and during our stay. Thoroughly recommend."

Bedding needs and towels were not provided as part of the rental and we had to pay an extra fee of 50 euro for sheets, pillow case and towels. We think this should be included in the description rather than provide this information shortly before rental date. "Beautiful property and grounds with lots of sunny spots and shady spots. The pool was beautiful too. We did a couple of day trips out but mostly just chilled out and made use of the pool and table tennis. There was also a tennis court with basket ball hoop but we didn’t use it. Good local supermarkets and we tried the local pizzeria and bakeries - all excellent."
