「We stayed in this house as a last minute pivot when we couldn’t get to the islands because of a storm. It turned out better than we could have anticipated! Communication with host was great, check in was easy, everything was spotless and comfortable. We loved the views out of the front window and we even saw dolphins just outside. Great stay!」

「This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. 「WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!」

「A beautiful, comfortable well equipped cottage in an amazing location. Rams Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the area around Glenelg and Arnisdale, with the Isle of Skye just a short ferry crossing away. A wonderful peaceful place to stay and be surrounded by wildlife and stunning scenery. Good for the Soul. At least one trip on the turntable ferry is a must, and the friendly Glenelg Inn is well worth a visit. All within easy walking distance from the digs. We will definitely return to...
