「Such a wonderful motel to stay in for a quick trip to Castlemaine! It was so cozy, modern, clean and comfortable, and had all the necessities such as a kettle, hairdryer, soap, etc! Checking in and out was so easy, and the staff were so kind and welcoming to us. Breakfast was kindly handed to us the night before! Would really recommend this motel, it was perfectly in the centre of town 」

「It was a beautiful large old farmhouse situated in the most peaceful environment,the views were amazing which could be enjoyed on a deck around the house.marg was very easy and quick to communicate with and provided us with everything we needed,we appreciated the bacon and eggs and extras.the farm house was just a short drive to the cascades and Turpin falls.if your looking for somewhere to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle and wanted to relax surrounded by farm life and quiet this is...

「Had a lovely 2 night stay over Easter with a friend. Cottage is clean, well utilized space inside, has everything you need, quite, private and friendly communication. Would love to stay again. 」

「A gorgeous cottage , with everything we needed for a short stay whilst visiting the area , highly recommended it for anyone who wishes to visit Maldon and surrounding areas , couldn’t have asked for more , hope to return again in the future. 」

「My two nights here were just what I needed. So quiet with great hosts where nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings here make it easy to unwind and a dip in the pool is well worth it. Not too far from town that you can walk but far enough from the busy roads so you can relax. So glad I found this place. Will absolutely return again one day. 」

「The cottage and surrounds were inviting and peaceful. Bed linen was beautiful, though we did find the mattresses too firm for us. Everything we needed was supplied and the fireplace kept the cottage cosy and warm. We also enjoyed the bookcase filled with an interesting mix of books and games, as well as the hammock and a fire by the dam to take in the beautiful starry sky. Elbert was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!」

「Lovely cottage, looks just like the photos. Check in was very easy. The bed was comfortable, water pressure in shower was good, and the kitchenette has everything you need for a short stay. Sandon is 20 mins away from everything, so perfect for exploring the area. My only feedback was that when I arrived the cottage was freezing. The heating works very well, but it did take several hours for it to warm up. I would stay here again. 」

「Great sized property, except for a tiny bathroom. Stairs to enter will be a challenge to anyone with a mobility issue.」

「The house is gorgeous. The host has created a real homage to its history, but blended with modern comfort. If you're visiting as a tourist to The Goldfields, you'll find it perfectly situated. We found that our host had thought of everything we could possibly need and responded swiftly to any queries. 」
