「Overall a poor experience. Very Expensive! Poor customer service and attitude from bar staff and breakfast waitress. Room needs a significant upgrade and safety check. We had an electric socket hanging off the wall. 」

「Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. 「It’s a no frills room so I thought a tad expensive but the shower leaves something to be desired, scalding hot or freezing cold, your choice and don’t try turning, you will bruise something. Staff were nice and the room was clean and we had a decent breakfast. I’m irked by the shower」

「I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. 」
