Everything was good, but not, exactly, top of the line. Sofa was not comfy. Couldn’t watch the TV because it was limited to owner passcode. We tried hooking up a Roku we brought but that didn’t work. Pretty much sucked.

Great location, neat and spacious house
Family trip for Parents weekend and Ring ceremony at the Citadel. Ages in our party ranged from 5 months to 69. House was big enough for us to separate as needed but still all hang out together in the den/family area. Super close to restaurants and downtown. Great location. Accommodating hosts

Great, low-key area for a fun girls weekend
I stayed for 4 total nights for a small girls weekend. The house was great, spacious, and met all of our needs. The location was great - we were able to uber into Charleston or to the beach with ease. There are shops and restaurants within about a 12-15 minute walk from the house, which was very convenient. Embarrassingly, we did not open the first door you see upon opening the front door until a couple of days into our stay: it is the largest bathroom in the house - so don't make that mistake (not the host's fault, totally our own)! If I find myself in the Charleston area again, I would definitely consider staying here again.

House was as-advertised, close to the boat ramp and Mount Pleasant attractions, decently stocked kitchen, overall a good place to stay. Enjoyed our trip and would rebook the house in the future.

Perfect House for a Group of Friends!
The Gathering Place was the perfect house for our group of friends! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, including much-needed space away from the group for one of us to work during our stay. We had a great time cooking and the den was perfect for both sunny yoga and ending each night watching movies together. The house was also, as promised, close to both the beach and downtown, a big plus for us! The only downsides were that the house wasn't quite ready at our check-in time (which the host did communicate as check-in approached) and some of the utensils needed to be washed before we could use them, but there were no major problems at all! Overall, we had a really, really great time!

Quaint Charleston home!
Great stay, super spacious home for a group of people. Not far from downtown or the beach. Super close to shems creek which is a plus!
