「Me and my wife and two huskies had a great time at their Shasta retreat. The host has the highest degree of attention to detail that I’ve ever seen and it was highly appreciated. They had great communication and just made sure that the accommodations were perfect so that we could enjoy our vacation, highly recommend and will return 」

「Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the trees. This home is well designed & looks just like the pics. Highlights were cooking meals in the kitchen, eating outside on the deck, the solarium in the mornings, and hot tubbing under the stars. The owner was very responsive to all our questions. We used this space as home base for excursions between the mountain & Redding. Enjoy!」

「The property was gorgeous and the view from the deck was breathtaking. Living near a major city with all the light pollution that comes with it, I don't get to see the stars much. I loved laying out on the deck at night, looking at the shooting stars and the Milky Way. The beds were comfortable and the rain shower was a great way to wake up. The only complaint is the book full of rules that wasn't mentioned in the listing. There were a lot of rules. 」

「Everything that you could need or want was there for you. The interior of the house designed with a lot of heart. Very clean and comfortable. Great views of the mountains and forest right outside the front door. The backyard garden was sooo inviting, loved hanging out there at night under the stars. I will definitely be back for a repeat experience, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great time exploring this amazing country 」

「Love the look of the stone building. We just stayed one night on our way to Portland. Had good meal at Dunsmuir Brewery Works which has an outdoor eating space where we could bring our dog. It is an easy walk out the back gate to the brewery. Fold out couch is comfortable for a fold out couch, wasn’t bothered by metal bars like on some. Water bed is more comfortable. Although house is across the street from train station so there is noise from the trains. 」

"This is the most rubbish hotel I have ever stayed in. When I entered the room, there were fingernails on the bedside table and a big spider web on the ceiling. Breakfast doesn't seem to belong to the hotel, it seems to be outsourced to private people, and it tastes terrible. It's just rubbish. What impressed me the most was a staff member at the front desk, whose name was Ricky. He was very nice, friendly and patient. Your hotel has such staff, which is your greatest treasure."
