Staff member st front desk was great. Made us feel welcomed.
Our room was ok but no more. Toilet was child-like it was so low to the floor and it backed up in the middle of the night. Didn’t want to address it at 3am so just waited till morning to report it.
Positives were the bed ( comfy) and the breakfast was good. Last time we stayed here ( few months ago) I reported our room being extremely dusty.
We’ve stayed here several times in the past 2 years for convenience on our travels but will look for something else next time though.

Great staff, very friendly. The warm cookies were excellent. However the rug in our room badly needed cleaning. The drain in our shower was very slow and there was a previous guests half drunk bottle in the fridge. On the plus side the bed was clean and comfortable and we were able to sleep well.

Everything was ok. Only complaint was with staff member Darleen or Darlene. She was very rude smart and distasteful. She was just all out disrespectful. This coming from someone whose job is to be helpful serving as first contact with the hotel was not good at all. Management should really take a closer look at her. Maybe even consider there options with her. She has to have multiple complaints against her. Other than dealing with unruly front desk clerk all other staff and aspects were good to go. We enjoyed our stay.

We accidentally booked in Mt. Vernon IL instead of Mt. Vernon VA due to an Expedia glitch. The hotel would not cancel the reservation so we did not stay here and still were charged the full price. Very disappointing.

Parking was easy, staff at check in was great, and the gym had an excellent assortment of equipment. However, our room was not clean. It looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed at all, there were steaks on all mirrors, windows, and even the tv, and the floor of the shower was a disturbing shade of gray/black (it was supposed to be beige). There was also a musty odor in the room.

What stood out for us were the amenities. This hotel has amazing spaces for meetings or conversation groups. The breakfast buffet was amazing. And there were the cookies!
