My husband and I stayed one night in the Gypsy Skoolie for our anniversary. It was a fun and unique experience. The school bus was very clean and comfortable. It was cutely decorated. We enjoyed the quiet, rural location. We have already recommended it to several friends!

Charming renovated bus

Very cute and secluded. Short drive to south Syllamore creek, town square and Blanchard springs. Very roomy for a school bus. If I had a bus I would renovate it the same way!!! Host is very pleasant and quick to reply and assist with requests. We will be staying with Fireside at other locations for sure!

Cute little get away!

This little bus was even cuter than described! Very clean, and comfortable. The area is peaceful and quiet. The only thing I’d say is that it’s a stretch to say it sleeps 4. There were only 2 of us and we slept very comfortably. I’d say 3 would be okay as long as they’re relatively small and at least 2 are comfortable sharing a full size bed. It was perfect for us.

Excellent little getaway!!!

First, the bus was very modern with lots of updates. Management thought about EVERYTHING! There was extra linen, blankets, coffee, coffee filters, etc. Toilet is camper style so it’s in the shower. However it’s not that bad, the shower is finished off with herringbone style tiling. The only issues we had was that it had been raining previously and the road was red clay so it was messy on our truck. The AC works well too. I was rather cold at different times. I would definitely come back again.

Amazing!!

We absolutely LOVED this little hidden gem.. it had everything we needed, quiet area, firewood provided and close to everything we needed in town. I’m so glad i stumbled upon this perfectly thought out camping bus… you guys outdone yourselves with this!!! Can’t wait to stay again and i have already had SO many friends asking about it. Anyone that stays here will not be disappointed!

The Skoolie was just what I expected from the listing and my family loved it. Very unique and well done conversion. Fully stocked with necessities and some great amenities (tv, internet, toaster oven). Comfortable bed.

great weekend retreat

we only stayed one night, but we had a great stay. We took time to enjoy the fire pit and out overall stay was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy and well planned out.

Unique place to stay

Nice clean “cabin”. Wasn’t as private/remote as pictures appeared but with the time of year, the other cabins right next door seemed empty so there wasn’t a lot of activity right around us. Nice unique place to stay. We really enjoyed our time.

Great little getaway

Took my son for a little overnight trip, and it did NOT disappoint. He loved every moment of getting to stay on a bus. We will definitely do this again in the future!

Amazing Time

We had the best weekend at the Skoolie! Super clean, had everything we could have needed! Rode horses, ziplined, explored Blanchard Springs and caverns. My kids had the best time!! We already want to go back!! The Skoolie was the best experience!

Loved Schoolie

Very unique experience. Directions were a little difficult but we weren't sure which way to go out of Mt View as we were not familiar with where Leslie was. Glad we stayed and would stay again.

The skoolie was the best! Tad bit on the cold side when we stayed, but a nice fire and warm inside.

We couldn't have picked a perfect place as the skoolie! Memories were made and that's all we could have asked for! Thanks Emily for all that you do to give people the perfect outdoor experience...with a little glamping.

Principals on the bus

We were their for only ten minutes and two huge deer came up wagging their tails like dogs. It was quite and very peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the pleasant temperatures. The bus contained everything we needed including tv and Wi-Fi.

What an awesome place

I was enchanted from the first time I saw the Emerald Gypsy Skoolie on VRBO. It did not disappoint. Cozy, private, quiet, clean as a whistle, wood provided for the fire pit along with well stocked indoors. Close to Mountain View activities. If you’ve never stayed in a Skoolie ( we had not) do yourself a favor and give this one a try! Big thumbs up from us!

Quaint relaxation - did not want to leave! We will be back by God’s mercy and grace!

I loved the email with all the things to do before we arrived! It was so relaxing! Private area! Very neat way to spend the 50th birthday. The host was very accommodating. Everything was just as listed! There were no surprises. No problems with the coolie schoolie.
