Wonderful to be right on the creek. Property was clean and attractive. For the cost, it would be nice to have access to the kayaks etc available to the larger cabin next door. Loved the location close to mt view and definitely plan to return and check out the other properties.

Cabin in the woods.

Quite a distance from town. Big hill to drive up and down. Fridge and microwave quit working. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Immaculate and convenient

5 miles from town is close enough if you need something yet far away enough to “feel” away. The area is rural and the fire pit of the cabin looks out over a meadow and Sylamore Creek. The cabin is clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the cabin has great lighting inside. My husband and I spent early mornings on the front porch drinking coffee, listening to the birds, and watching the squirrels. This is our second stay.

Peaceful cabin on beautiful mountain creek

Cabin was just the right size for get away for my husband and I. Had everything we needed and a few nice touches we didn't expect. Love the key-less entry! Beautiful location in area with only a few other houses close by. Will stay here again

Honeymoon Experience

The cabin met our needs very nicely. We love North Arkansas. The people and the landscape are beautiful. My only caution would be for motor cycle guests. The roads leading to the cabin would be difficult for cruisers or touring bikes as they are not paved. We had a wonderful time.

Family get away

This is our second year to stay at Jack's Bend and we absolutely love it. We love Sylamore for swimming, exploring and fishing and then we love to go to town for the music. We are making this a yearly tradition for our family!

Adorable cottage

Adorable cabin in a good location for access to the creek. Mattress was too firm for our liking but owner had an air mattress available and was responsive when we let her know about the mattress.

You cannot go wrong booking with fireside rental. Our trip was so stress free. The cabin was beautiful and clean the owner keeps in contact if you message with any questions. I honestly have never delt with nicer people I really can't say enough good things about our whole experience.

Great location very peaceful. If you bring dogs be careful with the neighbors across the road. They let their dog run around. Caught that same black dog pooping on the property.

Anniversary Weekend

What an adorable cabin with all the comforts of home! Husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway cabin away from life’s hustle and bustle and boy did this cabin fit the bill! I would love to know the history of this cabin.

Not What We Hoped For

My husband and I spent one night in this cabin while on a 12 day road trip. I am usually satisfied with VRBO listings and have rarely made any negative comments. However, as soon as we entered the cabin it was clear the cabin is not used often because it had a very musty odor. I do have allergies therefore left the next morning with swollen eyes due to the dampness of the air. We found 2 spiders in the bathtub as soon as we turned on the lights. I understand the cabin is in a remote setting but I do not feel the rental price matched the quality of the home. This home should be listed at a much lower price with a more rustic description. In all we were very disappointed.
