"There was no one present at the hotel, no manager, and we let ourselves in with the code. The hotel housekeeper was there briefly and interrupted my Zoom meeting with my video client. I had set up in the hallway because the room was small and there were no common areas available. We were the ONLY GUESTS IN THE HOTEL and the owner decided to interrupt my session (via the housekeeper) and ask me to go back into my room. He then lied and said it was because other guests were coming. There were no other guests, and we felt like unwelcome prisoners in this hotel. "

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."

"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! "
