“We found Firefly Cottage to be a very clean, cozy, and comfortable house midway between Ponca/Boxley Valley and Jasper. We were near the elk, the Buffalo River, and some great scenic drives. We enjoyed the big wrap-around porch with a great picnic table and swing. If you are looking for a very quiet and peaceful stay, you will find it at Firefly Cottage. ”

“We loved the quiet, country environment. We live in KCMO and love taking the chance to get out of the city to reset. The cabin was perfect! “Totally loved it. Tucked away in the woods, so it was nice and quiet. Plenty of room for my wife and me (though with extra bed, futon and sofa, more could have stayed easily). Amenities like restaurants, grocery and gas are a few minutes away (the town of Jasper is great). Buffalo River is right there, so there’s plenty of opportunities for water activities (as well as hiking). Looking forward to our next stay. ”
