"Beds and pillows were very comfortable; bathroom was large and well planned. We only stayed one night, and were glad we stayed at this location. We've stayed at other My Place Hotel locations and have not yet been disappointed."

"Absolutely perfect place to stay. We had the best weekend reconnecting with nature; canoeing the Mississippi river, hiking the nearby 5x state parks. The yurt was spacious yet cozy. We were always comfortable during both the warm daytime and when it cooled off at night. Laying on the comfortable bed, staring up at the stars between the treetop canopy was a great way to relax before falling asleep. Bev and Dave truly made a wonderful place and had all the accomodations set up for a perfect relaxing retreat. Will definitely be coming back!"

"We stayed at Dante's house for 3 nights in August and it was a blast. The house was well kept and had plenty of space for our family of 13. The game garage was super fun - ping pong / air hockey / foozeball and an arcade cabinet. The bunk house was fun for the younger girls they loved have their own space. The pool table in the basement got a lot of use, really nice table.Two notes to be aware of- Lake is a fishing lake not a swimming lake, muck bottom going far out. You need rafts to reach good swimming - suggest renting a pontoon.- AC's are mini splits and the cooling is a little inconsistent - fine for me but I have penguins in my family that love the cold.Highly recommend the house and Dante was an amazing host."
"The parking lot had some pretty big holes, but otherwise was sufficient to handle all the cars of the customers. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. "
"We stayed Sunday thru Thursday. The weather was beautiful. Actually had a glass looking lake one morning when we went kayaking. The loons sang their songs and actually had eagles flying back and forth from our shore to another across the lake. We had everything we needed and will be returning. Lovely at the end of the Cul de sac, neighbors and the lake were very quiet. Just what we needed. The addition of the 3 season porch was a welcome and wonderful surprise. My husband had just gotten out of the hospital and it was perfect for him to sit and enjoy Thank you very much for a lovely experience"

"Property needs some TLC. The doors covering the refrigerator and the microwave need touch up. Poor excuse for breakfast. Never have we been disappointed with the breakfast at a Country Inn and Suites until this one. "
