「What a great find. We needed a place that was big enough to accommodate all our family and this did not disappoint. Spacious rooms, fabulous garden and brilliant location. Everything you could possibly need for your stay was catered for. The house was spotlessly clean. We all loved it and looking forward to booking again for next year. 」

「River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we...

「Incredible location for walking and enjoying swaledale. House is comfortable and well provisioned, fantastic host. Whole place could do with a deep clean though and the mattress is knackered 😂
We had a great time」

「Cosy cottage, comfy beds, large fluffy towels, good heating, easy to control.
Kitchen well stocked, utensils that worked( knives sharp, plenty of pots and pans)
Great location for exploring the Yorkshire countryside, nice walk into Askrigg which has nice pubs, food, artisan shop.
Owners responded to queries quickly .
Note to tall people, watch your head on upstairs bathroom ( I am 150cm and banged my head). This added character to the cottage.」
