"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. The Falmouth Hotel

"The room was okay, but it seems that they are refurbishing things so they are aware of the need to improve. The hot water for the basin was ideal for running a bath, but the bathtubs hot water probably has a TMV fitted so the hot water wasn’t fantastic. There was a minor problem, but the administration dealt with it promptly, so well done."

"Amazing amenities and very walkable to St. Ives main town area. Easier to walk than to drive because parking could be a nightmare to manage. The staff was friendly. The room was quite spacious although the decor a bit dated. The bed was very comfortable. Good for our one night stay as we drove through the area. "

"Really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was a standout with a great selection and everything was fresh and well prepared. Having access to the health club was a massive bonus and made the stay feel even more relaxing. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the area. I also loved the theming throughout the hotel — it gave the place a lot of character and made it feel more unique than a standard stay. Everything was clean, tidy, and well looked after. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience and I’d happily stay again."

Harbour Hotel St Ives

"We enjoyed the Hotel and its amenities eg indoor pool, jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna plus the spa. I had a massage and one of the best at a hotel in the UK. The room was comfortable and bathroom a good size. However, the bedroom window with views of the sea was small, so disappointing but will upgrade next time as the views are so worth it! The location of the hotel is ideal for using the train and access to the lovely sandy beach. Walking to the centre of the town is about 10 mins and easy but coming back is all up hill so be prepared as there are no buses. If you love seafood St Ives has plenty. The hotel bar area and dining room deliver the amazing views too with food good! We will be back next year in June instead of May for warmer weather. And finally the staff were friendly and helpful."
