Wonderful Stay

We loved this boutique style hotel. Great location near the train station and not far from Marien Platz. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel staff amazing.

Wonderful stay

We loved this boutique style hotel in a great spot in Munich. Close to the train station and not far from Marien Platz. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

Only was there one night but was very happy with my hotel choice. The staff was uniformly very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large and the bed was comfortable. Second stay here. Super convenient and clean rooms. Rooms are albeit on the smaller side, but are ideal for single/couple travellors on business. A 10 minute walk from the down Munich core, a lovely stay in Munich with Ostbahnhof being across the street. Cant ask for anything more.

the staff is wonderful and very helpful. Staff is great with directions around the city and for the U and S lines. They welcome you with water, softdrinks and light snacks. I thought this was a very nice touch and made your stay easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was also great the one day we ate there. Thank you, this is my 3rd visit and I hope to return someday.

The only place to stay in Munich!

MOMA was perfect in every way! The staff was kind and enormously helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is free mineral water any time you want. Also snacks. And self service beer and wine is very reasonably priced—like a half bottle of red wine for 5 Euros. The Ost train station is right at the hotel, so you can easily get anywhere in Munich. You won’t be disappointed!

My stay at MOMA 1890 Hotel was a fairly good experience overall. The hotel had some great aspects, but also a few drawbacks. The biggest highlight was the comfortable bed with high-quality linens, which made for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was modern and well-designed, which I really appreciated. However, despite booking a Junior Suite, I found the room to be quite small, which was a bit disappointing as I expected more space. The location was excellent for work, being right next to a subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. While it was perfect for business travel, I would have preferred to stay closer to Marienplatz to be in the heart of the historic district, as that’s where I enjoyed spending my free time. The biggest drawback was the lack of amenities that you might find in a larger hotel, along with the compact room size. While the experience was positive, I’d recommend this hotel primarily for business travelers who prioritize location and efficiency over space and extra facilities.

MOMA1890 Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem and we loved staying there. It's very convenient to the Ostbahnhof which made getting from and to the airport very convenient. There are also lots of shops an cafes in the local area. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. Free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks were a lovely bonus! We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel in a great location. One of the best value for money stays we have had in many years. The staff are wonderful, particularly on the reception desk. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks are a real bonus and the honesty bar for alcoholic drinks is such good value. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Munich
