Barely average accommodations

It was satisfactory even though there was only 2 pillows on the bed. The housekeeping barged into the room advising checkout was at 12, 2 hours early…we were still in the bed reading. Lobby area was very nice, checkin staff was very nice. However, one overnight staff acted like he was put out when we asked for a drink from the bar…only 1 person working the lobby and bar. We were the only 2 people in the bar area. Other than that is was adequate.

War sehr angenehm. Auf Dienstreisen meine neue Stammunterkunft. In der gleichen Preisklasse gibt es durchaus bessere Häuser. Die Anbindung an ÖPNV ist von Vorteil.

Wir waren wegen eines Konzerts im Feierwerk für eine Nacht im ibis und hatten zu zweit ein Doppelzimmer. Das Hotel ist mit Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war hell und nett gestaltet. Das Bett war bequem, wenn auch die Decken sehr warm. Es gab genügend Abstellfläche und Steckdosen. Das Bad war klein, aber ausreichend, die Ablagefläche war okay. Problematisch fanden wir die Badtür. Es war keine Türklinke, sondern ein Türknauf und ein "Rollschnapper". Man konnte die Badtür also nur zu- und aufziehen oder -drücken - mit dem entsprechenden Krach. Dementsprechend haben wir nachts die Badtür auch beim Klogang angelehnt gelassen, um den anderen nicht zu wecken. Das fanden wir insgesamt sehr störend. Generell war das Thema Lärm ein Problem. Vielleicht lag es an der speziellen Gästegruppe in dieser Nacht, es war eine große Gruppe Jugendlicher mit Eltern im Hotel, und bis weit nach zwölf Uhr nachts wurde in den Fluren gerannt, getrampelt - es klang wie Bowlingspielen. Auch Toilettenspülungen in benachbarten Zimmern hörten wir aus unserem Bad sehr laut. Das Frühstück bot insgesamt eine reichhaltige Auswahl, jedoch mit punktuellen Abstrichen. Es gab eine Waffel- und eine Pancakemaschine, es gab verschiedene Säfte, Teesorten, eine Auswahl an Müsli, an Brot und Brötchen, an Marmeladen. Aber es gab nur eine Sorte Schnittkäse, keinen Frischkäse und nur eine Sorte Milch, keine laktosefreie oder Hafermilch war angeboten. Schönes Hotel, aber uns zu laut!
