“Wir waren auf der Durchreise für 1 Nacht im Hotel Blaue Gams. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein aber sehr gemütlich. Für 1 Nacht passte es. Das FrühstücksBuffet war sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall dort essen und nicht wo anders hin gehen.”

“The hotel was not bad but the female owner was not friendly to the family with a child. We were shocked when we checked out and the bill has been added an extra charge for our small kid though we didn't have the extra bed,and they didn't tell us in advance when we checked in . She even didn't explain anything until we found the price was not correct and she said everyhotel was different...though we never been treated like this time...And the quilt had a bad smell since wasnot washed for a long……

“This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Oberammergau. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here in 2023 and again this past July in 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in Oberammergau and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would definitely stay here again. ”

“Overall, Alte Postvilla is a wonderful place to stay. It's directly across from the train and bus stop, as well as the grocery and convenience stores. It's only about a 10-15 walk to restaurants and the local alpine coaster. The rooms were clean, updated, and our views of the mountain were gorgeous. The only hiccup we had was that some of our bookings were disrupted due to water damage in some of the rooms. Our group had 3 separate apartment bookings that we were asked to condense into 2……
