Easy to find in this cute little town. Check in was easy. The room was very nice. Very spacious, clean, comfortable. The shower was nice. Lots of hot water. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again if I was in the area

We liked the cleanliness of the property and it was well maintained. A few minor inconveniences was that electric outlets were limited. Also there was no hairdryer.

Only stayed for 1 night traveling through. Parking limited in the front. Back lot parking was very dark. Old building nothing fancy but was very clean. Would stay here again.

Best Place We Stayed—STAY HERE
We have traveled for 6 days and this was our FAVORITE place we stayed. The owner was so friendly and immediately pointed us in the direction of our room. The room was clean, smelled great, and the bed was so comfortable! It was fantastic service and we enjoyed our stay. Much better than a chain hotel.

This owner takes immaculate care of his property. The desk open hours are from 4p.m. to 11 p.m. for check-in because the man needs to rest. He is one of the last and best business owners. Stay here. You won't be sorry.

Pleasantly Surprised
I had been traveling across the US and didn't have any expectations for a motel in a small town. However, after running from a massive storm, I was grateful to see American Inn. The bed was comfortable, loved the chair in the corner, and seemed pretty updated. Loved the general styling of the room.

No frills option at a great price. Had a king with a nice chair and desk chair, small microwave and mini fridge. Single level building. Concrete block construction, never heard another guest. Bed was comfortable and room was large enough to hold all our travel junk. Would stay again.

Cute little hotel in town. Basic well appointed rooms but comfy and clean. Would stay again. Property was noted to have laundry (which is why we picked it) but it was shut down when we got there. The RV part is not in use at all, which is where the laundry is. So their website needs to be updated. Everything around it closes early, so if you get in after about 6-7 PM be prepared for that. Only thing open for food was Prairie Pizza - which is amazing by the way, so is the coffee shop next to it!

The room is simple, but very clean. The mattress is very comfortable. Check in took less than 30 seconds. It is a very nice place to pull over and rest up before going on with our journey. I think it was a great find.

Very clean. No chain on the door but there was an alarm if the door was left open. No one at the reception desk in the morning so key cards are left in a basket when you leave. No morning coffee in the lobby but there are places nearby to get it. Would definitely stay again.
