Good property
We enjoyed our stay. The property was good but not perfect for the holiday we imagined. I would recommend to others and other peoples holidays without wanting to return myself.
Positives:
- location is really near to the beach
- some (albeit expensive) shops close by
- easy parking outside the property and private drive (quite steep so didn’t dare use in the hire car!)
- kid friendly - floats were left in the pool for our use
- beach umbrellas and towels available in the house
- excellent restaurant close by (La Figueret)
- everything in the house was really easy to use (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob)
Negatives:
- mosquitoes (not a lot that the owners could do about that but make sure you have good repellent, fly spray, antihistamines if you have bad reactions)
- kitchen was not very well equipped - needs more utensils, and was missing basic items such as dishwasher tablets, cloths etc.
- we arrived after the supermarkets shut and there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the house - it would be good for there to be some sort of welcome package of even the very basics.
- there is not a lot in the surrounding area aside from aforementioned restaurant. Bars in Playa de Muro are about 2km (all on flat) walking
- beds on nearest beach were reserved for multiple days - meaning that we either chose another beach or lay on the sand which our kids hate
