A warm welcome was received. We did have some problems: The pool was dirty when we arrived, initially we were told this was due to a recent rainfall but following it being cleaned the following day there was still dust on the bottom. There was also a large amount of wasps near the pool resulting in my daughter getting stung. It was worse the warmer it was. We spoke with the owners and they told me there wasn't much we could do as it was the countryside and it was illegal to kill bees/wasps. They did however give me a spray to kill them which I didn't want to do given it's illegality. The pool was still cloudy which I mentioned to the owners, they sent the pool guy out who told them it was clear when it wasn't, they visited later and admitted it wasn't clean. It began to clear up over the next day after they took further action. The third bedroom is in a loft which is unbearably hot making it unusable for sleeping as the aircon does not reach. The listing in English makes reference to Xbox and bikes which dont exist. There are no cushions for the loungers/chairs outside. On the Saturday we stayed the door handle broke, initially the owners said it would be too expensive to get someone to fix. I told them that was unacceptable and he tried to fix it resulting in us getting locked out in the midday heat for an hour while he found someone to fix it which they did in the end. He did however try to blame us for breaking it when trying to justify not fixing on the weekend. The foll

Klassische Finca mit riesigem Pool

Einfache, aber schöne und gut eingerichtete Finca umgeben von Orangen- und Zitronenbäumen. Der riesige Pool wurde 2x pro Woche gereinigt und war stets sauber. Wegen der Obstkulturen etwas viel durstige Wespen rund um den Pool. Der Vermieter (Miguel) war sehr freundlich und jederzeit gut erreichbar. Weil die Finca im Landwirtschafts- und Gewerbegebiet liegt etwas viel Umgebungslärm am Morgen, dafür ist man in ca. 10-15 Min. mit dem Auto am Strand. Preis-/Leistung war in Ordnung und unsere Kinder und wir konnten unsere Ferien mit riesiegem Pool geniessen!

Einfach aber schön

Einfach aber mit allem, was man benötigt eingerichtete Finca, großer Pool und Grundstück. Grillhaus geeignet für BBQ, Paella und Pizza aus dem Ofen. Miguel ist bei Fragen sofort vor Ort. Etwas störend der benachbarte Baustoffhandel mit den LKW in der Früh. Sonst super Lage, bis Palma 35 Minuten, zum Strand 15-20 Minuten. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans cette charmante petite maison. La piscine est incroyablement grande et la terrasse tres agréable. Miguel est très sympathique, discret lorsqu il vient pour l entretien et c est un hôte sur lequel on peux compter aussi bien pour les conseils sur les visites que si il arrive un soucis. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour et recommandons Miguel et sa propriété sans hésitations. Nous y retournerons des que possible !

Way too expensive for what you get; nice private pool but that does not value the high price.

This cottage is located in the main industrial area of Muro, we arrived on a Saturday, and it was quiet during the whole weekend, except for the main road traffic, which is just behind the house ca. 30 meters. This property surroundings could be really noisy during working days too, this until late in the evening (even in August): the few factories here, few meters from the house carry on production, till late in the evening. But the private swimming pool might compensate this. However again basic: no single shadow of the many trees of the property! no swimming pool towels, unless you are ready to pay for /supplements. The garden full of citrus: lemon and orange trees, however is in a bad condition, some glass plastic bottles had been laying in the garden for some time, and mind your steps and head if you dare to walk between the citrus trees! The house is small compared to the size of the property, but really clean and kept tidy. There is only 1 airconditioning in the house and that is an old one: not very effective and very expensive in use since you have to pay for the electricity! The third bedroom on 1st floor is of no use in the summer days when temperatures rises, as there’s no airconditioning except a noisy fan. The bathroom is nice but small 2m by 1m, and equiped with a shower and a toilet, the only toilet of the house. This tiny room could use some air circulation as there’s no window at all. Plus point of this property: - clean and tidy - private swimming pool - Miguel, the owner is kind and ready to help, speaks good english. All with all, just too expensive for what it really offers: the noisy and messy location, within an industrial area, with no nice view at all, regardless of the corner, only walls and roofs of the neighbours: factories and warehouses. The main road to the highway is just around 30m from the bedrooms. Besides Muro has really nothing attractive at all.

Very lovely

Overall we had a splendid time. The property is lovely. Lots of lemon trees and free lemonade. The pool was awesome and a life savior at high temperatures. Neighborhood is quiet for a city slicker, though it has somewhat apocalyptic feeling. Mattresses could be more stiff / replaced in smaller bedroom though. Over all it is the best price performance option in the area!

Schöne Villa mit großem Pool

Tolles Haus in großem Grundstück

Wir waren knapp 2 Wochen als Familie mit 3 Kindern da. Am Besten hat uns die große, überdachte Terasse gefallen mit dem massiven Steintisch. Die 3 Schlafzimmer sind ausreichend ausgestattet. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen Fernseher (nur spanische Programme) und eine Klimaanlage. Das WLAN funktioniert nicht immer. Die Küche hat alles was man zum Selberkochen braucht. Und einen riesigen Kühl-/Gefrierschrank. Alles ist so wie auf den Fotos gezeigt. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Oft genützt haben wir den riesigen Grill. Der große Pool (ca. 11x5 Meter und 1,60-2 m tief) ist perfekt, das Wasser war super sauber und man kann nachts eine Beleuchtung einschalten. Der Kontakt mit Miguel, dem Vermieter, war sehr freundlich und problemlos. Er kommt ein bis zwei mal in der Woche, um den Pool zu reinigen und die vielen Orangen- und Feigenbäume zu gießen. Das Grundstück hat ein abschließbares Tor, das Auto kann man innerhalb parken. Das Haus liegt am Stadtrand von Muro in einem Industriegebiet. Gegenüber ist ein Art Großhandel, wo Lkw beladen werden. Hinter dem Haus ist eine Kfz-Werkstatt und auf der anderen Seite ein Baustoffhandel. Manchmal ist es etwas laut, es ist aber nicht jeden Tag gleich. Uns hat es nicht groß gestört. dafür hat man das riesige Grunstück nur für sich allein. Das haben wir sehr genossen. Zum Platja del Muro, unserem Lieblingsstrand, fährt man mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten. Achtung: Den Strom, den man verbraucht, muss man extra zahlen. Wir haben dafür knapp 50 € bezahlt, hatten jedoch die Klimaanlage nie in Betrieb. Miguel, der Vermieter, ist super freundlich und wohnt in Muro. Man kann ihn immer erreichen und sich gut in Englisch mit ihm unterhalten. Er hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Vielen Dank dafür! Wenn wir in ein paar Jahren mal wieder nach Mallorca kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall hier gerne wieder übernachten.

Wunderschönes Haus für einen wirklich erholsamen und entspannten Urlaub

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern für einen 10-tägigen Aufenthalt zu Gast in diesem tollen, liebevoll eingerichteten Haus. Die Austattung des Hauses lässt kaum Wünsche offen. In der Küche ist alles zu finden, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Die meiste Zeit unseres Aufenthalts haben wir, dank des traumhaften Wetters, auf der Terrasse und im Garten verbracht. Der große Pool war gepflegt und wurde durch den Vermieter nach 5 Tagen perfekt gereinigt. Er ist groß genug zum schwimmen und kann nachts beleuchtet werden. Das Grundstück ist groß und der frisch gepresste Orangensaft zum Frühstück aus den selbst geernteten Orangen schmeckte köstlich. Der Vermieter Miguel war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit und hat jedes unserer Anliegen ernst genommen und schnell für Abhilfe gesorgt. Wir haben eigentlich nur wenige Kritikpunkte, die aber durch die vielen positiven Seiten nicht ins Gewicht fielen: Ein Geschirrspüler würde den Aufenthalt sicher noch ein wenig komfortabler machen und Sangria mit selbst geernteten Zitrusfrüchten schmeckt aus großen Gläsern sicher noch besser. Leider waren nur kleine Gläser und große Tassen vorhanden. Es gibt kein deutsches Fernsehen. Da es aber einen mittelschnellen Internetanschluss gibt war das kein großes Problem. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Urlaub! Wir werden das Haus weiterempfehlen und kommen sicher wieder!

Ein schöner Urlaub in einer schönen Finca

Unser Urlaub in dieser Finca war sehr erholsam und das Haus sowie Grundstück trugen sicher sehr viel dazu bei. Das Haus ist in der Tat nicht sehr groß, aber für vier Personen ausreichend. Das Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und man könnte sicher auch ein paar Regentage hier verbringen. Es ist eher rustikal eingerichtet aber das passt zum Charme eines kleinen spanischen Landhauses. Es liegt ein wenig abseits in der schönen, kleinen Stadt Muro. Can Picafort oder der sehr schöne Strand Platja de Muro liegen 10 Autominuten entfernt. Uns störten die gelegentlichen Geräusche der umliegenden Betriebe gar nicht. Kein Vergleich zur Geräuschkulisse die man z.B. an einem Hotelpool oder einer befahrenen Straße hätte. Toll ist der große Pool. Mindesttiefe ist 1,60m. Kinder sollten also idealerweise schwimmen können. Für Erwachsene eignet er sich dadurch auch gut zum Schwimmen. Auch sehr schön ist die große, beschattete Terasse um die Hälfte des Hauses herum. Hier kann man sich bei 37°C purer Sonne oder bei 15°C und Regen eigentlich immer aufhalten und die Kinder haben Platz zum Spielen. Miguel ist ein sehr freundlicher und zurückhaltender Gastgeber, der ca. zweimal pro Woche zum Reinigen des Pools und Gießen vorbeischaut. Wenn es uns nochmal nach Mallorca zieht werden wir vermutlich wieder bei Miguel anfragen ob dieses schöne Objekt frei ist.

Das Haus war sehr schön mit einem großen Garten mit vielen Orangen, Zitronen und Grapefruit -Bäumen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, ebenso die vielen leckeren Orangen. Der Vermieter war sehr nett, der Pool super groß, das Haus gut ausgestattet, und obwohl es mitten im Industriegebiet liegt, hat es uns von der Lautstärke her nicht gestört. Auch die Lage des Hauses auf Mallorca ist sehr gut, denn man kann alles gut und schnell erreichen. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Schön aber laut

Das Haus an sich ist ganz hübsch. Auch das Grundstück und der Pool sind sehr schön, aber der Pool war sehr kalt. Das Haus liegt im Gewerbegebiet, sodass es ab ca. 6:00 Uhr mit der Ruhe vorbei ist.

28.09.2017 schöne typische mallorquinische Finca

Ein sehr schöne kleine Finca umgeben von einem sehr großen Garten mit Orangenbäumen, Zitronenbäumen, Nuss- und Feigenbäumen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Bad etwas klein, aber für eine Woche Urlaub möglich. Für drei Personen genau richtig. Der Pool ist sehr schön gelegen und richtig groß. Super zum schwimmen und im Pool baden. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Am Ortsrand von Muro. Zu Fuß ist in 2 min. ein Supermarkt zu erreichen. Auch eine Tankstelle ist direkt um die Ecke. Der Vermieter ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommen. Er kann sehr gut Englisch, dadurch ist eine Unterhaltung gut möglich.

Sehr sauberes Haus mit Privatsphäre!

Wir sind soeben von einem 18 tägigen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus zurück gekehrt und waren sehr zufrieden. Positiv überrascht bei Ankunft hat uns die Sauberkeit des Hauses. Das Grundstück liegt zwar in einem Industriegebiet, allerdings bekommt man von diesem nicht viel mit. Wir fanden die Lage von Vorteil, da so unsere beiden Jungs mit ihrem Spiel niemanden stören konnten. Die Küche ist recht einfach ausgestattet, aber für den Urlaub reicht es. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, kümmert sich regelmäßig um den Pool und die Bepflanzung und hatte auch Spaß an unseren helfenden Jungs. Wenn man etwas negatives benennen möchte, dann wären das die beiden Einzelbetten: das eine eher eine Art Notbett mit dünner Matratze auf Sprungfederrost und das anderer auch mit ziemlich spürbaren Sprungfedern. Aber da wir genug Ausweichmöglichkeiten hatten, hat es uns nicht wirklich gestört. Für regnerische Tage ist der große überdachte Außenbereich ideal. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, wenn es mit der nächsten Urlaubsplanung passt!

maison très agréable

Nous nous sommes vraiment plu dans la maison de miguel qui est d'ailleurs très accueillant et disponible (et qui parle très bien anglais). On sent que cette maison est remplie d'histoire et à été rénovée avec goût. La piscine est un vrai plus car grande, éclairée et il est appréciable de pouvoir s'y baigner sans vis à vis. L'espace extérieur est reposant et bien agencé avec la terrasse, le coin barbecue/four à pain, et les différents arbres fruitiés. La cuisine est simple mais fonctionnelle. J'ai juste enlevé une étoile par rapport au quartier qui se situe en pleine zone industrielle mais nous étions au courant avant de venir. Il y a quelques bruits aux alentour en journée mais rien de vraiment dérangeant. La ville de Muro n'est pas vraiment touristique mais alcudia se situe à 20min en voiture (perso nous ne sommes pas trop fan de ces zones touristiques) et il ne faut pas manquer d'aller à formentor et les magnifiques plages de Cala Sant Vicenç qui se trouvent à 30 min. Il faut compter 45 min pour aller à palma. Bref une maison aussi sympathique que son propriétaire à un carrefour intéressant des diverses activités de Majorque. Il y a aussi un petit supermarché et une station service à 2 min (5 à pied). Muchas gracias Miguel ;-)

Lovely house, but a bit noisy

We are very satisfied with the service from our host. The house and the pool was very nice. Only little problem was that the upstairs bedroom is very hot, allthough aircondition was turned on. The surroundings of the house (industry area) is a bit noisy, especially in the early morning hours. The conlusion for us as a family is that you get a good value for money :-) Thanks to Miguel for being a really nice and caring host.

A great property - private and comfortable

On arrival we were greeted by Miguel, who was very polite and has good English (despite what he thinks!) The house is simple but spacious and had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. The pool is not heated but that didn't bother us. There is a large garden filled with citrus trees. The smell of the fruit was divine! There are oranges, grapefruit and lemons. It was a great place for hide and seek! There is a large table and area to eat outside and relax in the sunshine. Muro is a perfectly situated town with all necessary facilities. The mountains and beaches are all within 45mins. The mountains make for a beautiful backdrop for the town. Muro is not a tourist destination so gives a pleasant break from the boards. I would recommend this house to cyclists, families and anyone who wants to have a varied holiday on this beautiful island.

Excellente semaine

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans le gîte de Miguel à Muro. La maison est confortable, située dans un verger de citronniers et orangers. L'odeur des fleurs d'oranger est envoûtante! Miguel nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a donné de bons conseils pour des randonnées. C'était la semaine sainte; nous avons eu la chance de voir la procession de vendredi saint dans le village de Muro. L'île est belle au mois d'avril avec ses arbres en fleurs, une température confortable (20-22°), un beau soleil et pas trop de monde. Les calanques sont magnifiques et le Torrent de Pareis vaut l'effort. Il faut utiliser la voiture pour visiter mais rien n'est très loin. Je recommande ce gîte surtout pour les familles qui recherchent un peu de calme, excentré des hauts lieux touristiques.

Fantastic house for small family,very private,exactly what we needed to feel relaxed

When we arrived very late at night our first impression was great,very spacious and clean house and lovely smell of lavenda and rosemary from the garden. The owner of the house Miguel was extremaly nice and helpful,he made us feel very welcomed and comfortable.He came twice to clean the swimming pool and my children got a treat from him.They liked talking to him.The house is very private and the garden is absolutely huge and there is secure parking on the property.Our children could play safely around the house and swimming pool which is a big bonus.They run around making most of it.We loved our privacy when swimming,we also enjoyed swimming at night as there are lights in the swimming pool.We enjoyed our trips to Alcudia which is very close and lovely Pollenca.Local beaches are only 10min drive,local shop just 5 min walk. We liked the rustic style of the house and fantastic space outside.We had our meals outside which was perfect.It was our 5th holiday in Majorca but this time it was amazing.We had absolutely stress free holidays.We loved the fact that we are not in holiday resort ,it was peaceful and exactly what we needed to recover from busy life.Thank you very much .
