We went to Murphy's for our family's annual girl's trip, and this was such a wonderful place to stay! It was a great location with a very easy walk into town. The house was warm and very accommodating. We would definitely love to come back again and would highly recommend it!
The newer property was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay for our groups trip to see Hank Williams Jr at Ironstone which is less than 2 miles away. We will definitely stay here again.
Lovely house/organized/well appointed and clean. Comfortable for three couples staying for the weekend. Easy walk to town and close to Ironstone Amphitheater for concert evening. Definitely would stay again!!
We had a very fun weekend getaway enjoying family time together , home is very spacious, comfortable living room, comfy beds and nice kitchen with everything you need also enjoyed back deck in the evening! Neighborhood is very quite and surrounding homes are adorable. Murphys is a cute little town, enjoyed wine tasting at Ironstone and picnic at hovey right on the corner of main street. Great place to stay !
Just wonderful! Open floor plan with a great flow. Kitchen is large and very well laid out. Host had everything we needed and communication was excellent. The house has a lovely back deck with plently of sitting room. Highly recommend this property! Very close to downtown Murphys.
This was a great location, cute house and we all had a blast. Great communication from the owners. Quiet neighborhood and perfect if you are attending an event at Ironstone Winery. The only bummer was the power went out for several for14 hours. If you are staying anywhere in the mountains, know that can be an issue with PGE outages these days.
Property was very comfortable for the six of us. Enjoyed the outdoor space a lot. Home was clean and an easy walking distance to town. Would love a few more wine glasses and metal kitchen chairs not the most comfy. Also would like some cleaning supplies to clean kitchen table etc. Had a wonderful weekend and look forward to a return visit. Thanks to our hosts.
Perfect home for a stay in Murphys. 15 minutes leisurely walking through the neighborhood to get Downtown to wine taste etc. Grocery stores a 3 minute drive. The kitchen was a joy to cook in with several of us in there working and still connecting with others that are in the living room. Beds were comfy. We really appreciated the ease of access to the house and quick feedback from owners if we needed it.
My two friends and I stayed here for a little scrapbooking get away for the weekend. We could not have asked for a more perfect spot. The home was beautiful and clean and well stocked with anything that we could possibly need. It was just steps away from downtown Murphy’s or we could get coffee in the mornings or dinner in the evenings. It’s a gorgeous location and a beautiful little town in the foothills of the Yosemite mountains. Charrisa was very accommodating, and checked in on us a couple of times throughout our stay to make sure that everything was as we needed it. We have no complaints whatsoever! Hopefully we’ll get to make it back up to this location again sometime in the future.
This airy home was base for a week in Calaveras County for me and a friend. It is far enough away from the downtown and highway that when sitting on the deck, you enjoy the chatter of the birds in the trees. The beds are comfortable, and after a long hike in the woods, the Jacuzzi tub feels great. The grocery store is about an 8 minute walk, and another 8 minutes to the Murphys Hotel at the heart of Main Street. The kitchen is adequately supplied for basic meal preparation. We visited San Andreas and Angels Camp, and Murphys seems to have the liveliest Main Street with lots of places to eat and taste wine. We liked lunch at Grounds. The Sequoia redwoods at Calaveras Big Trees State Park are spectacular. We were lucky to have this and another day hike before a prescribed burn turned the air smokey. Communication with the host was good. I would be happy to stay here again.
Had a girls reunion and the house was large enough to accommodate all 5 of us. We loved the large dining table great for games and eating. It was easy to find and clean. No worries!
