Great tucked away gem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent the month of October here and it met our needs while we did business in town. Loved the king bed which was hard to find in a condo rental. The kitchen was not well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and utensils. We bought many items we needed for the month and left them there. All items were very cheap, don't know why nobody did this before. I would rent here again and also good location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was nice. Everything fine until we got locked in . The door would not open. We were stuck inside. Called maintenance. He arrived but he couldn’t get in from the outside. The door just jammed up on everybody. Couldn’t get in. Couldn’t get out. We left a maintenance man in through the bedroom window. He finally took the door apart. Replace the whole handle and lock. But it was kind of a scary situation. Four about five hours. Maintenance guy was very nice. He did a good job. it was just kind of a scary situation.

Enjoyable getaway

It is overall very clean, spacious, and in a great location. Other than the beach, there are many options for shopping, groceries, and outdoor entertainment nearby. The only request I would make is to replace or paint the inside of the kitchen cabinets due to a weird smell inside them. Them smell sticks to all the dishes, especially the cups, and you can taste it when you drink or eat. We had to rewash all of the dishes and leave them out on the counter to prevent this. The cookware could also use some updating. However, we were happy with the accommodations and would stay there again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The smell was like soap, cleaning fluid, or something weird. When you took a glass out and poured a liquid into it you could taste the smell. It was so horrible we washed the dished and left them sit on the counter. I reported it to Hoosier keeping upon checking out.
