“House was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Only thing it’s kinda far from the city but overall great stay. Host was responsive and nice. ”

“The beds were comfortable and it fit my family of 5 (grown kids) well. It was conveniently located near a station. Walkable neighborhood with access to convenient stores and restaurants. We stayed in December and it was cold. There were room heaters but it still was pretty cold in the house. Otherwise it worked well. Nothing glamorous but functional. Thanks for the nice stay. ”

“Kevin was a fantastic communicator and helped us with clear directions to get to his property including videos of how to get the trains and a video of how to walk there from the station.He also provided us with instructions and advice on local eateries and restaurants.His place was super close to a 7/11 and supermarket and was a quick 5 minute walk to the closest train station.His house had everything we needed for our stay. Towels soap shampoo cutlery plates bowls seasonings etc. having 3……

“2家族（父2人は仕事の為、ママ友と子供3人の計5人）で宿泊させて頂きました。 宿は平屋の古民家をリノベされたもので水回りは全て綺麗になっていました。 子供が小学低学年というのもあり、とにかく広さ重視でしたが、子供達はかくれんぼしたり大喜びでした。 夜に手持ち花火をやりたい旨を家主にお伝えしたところバケツとライター、蚊取り線香まで用意して下さいました。 ザ・おばあちゃんち！という佇まいで親子共々とても癒されました。 今度は父達も一緒に宿泊したいです。 追加） お風呂にはシャンプー・リンス・ボディーソープが備え付けでありますが、自然派の石鹸系のシャンプーでしたので、慣れていない髪が長い女性にはギシギシして大変かもしれません。持参された方がよいかもしれないです。”

“We had a wonderful stay at Pencil House over the new year period in Tokyo. The location is quiet and perfect as it is also convenient to get to anywhere with proximity to the metro station. The layout of the rooms was perfect as each of our preteens got their own space and the kitchen has everything needed in a compact space. Communication was very easy with the host and appreciated. Would consider staying again if we are back in the area ”
