"We arrived in heavy rain, and the owner, brought out broken umbrellas. He initially said we couldn’t drive up to drop off bags but allowed it in the end because of the weather. The property looked decent at first, but once inside our “best room,” the reality hit hard. The room stank of stale, dirty odours. The bathroom smelled like awful, persistent drain fumes—not just a normal toilet smell. The kettle was filthy, and the water came out cloudy—luckily, I noticed before drinking it....

"This is a great hotel. Although the rooms are a little small, it is spotlessly clean. The shower is excellent, always hot water. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is excellent and the hotel is in the centre of Chantilly. Would highly recommend this hotel."

Bar available outside only; a little irritating. Breakfast was good. We’d return but food offering needs to be better"
